Messenger is one of the many shorter side quests in Wuthering Waves and all you have to do in the mission is to deliver a message. The quest is given to you by Patroller Chuyi, who is inside a cavern near Wenye Beach.
After talking to him, the quest activates, and you will need to head out and deliver the message to a “Lazing Around Researcher” who can be found nearby.
While a very short mission, you can get your hands on some good rewards after completing it. These drops will include Union EXP, Astrite, Shell Credits, and Advanced crafting materials.

How to start the Messenger in Wuthering Waves
To start Messenger you will need to find Patroller Chuyi who is near Wenye Beach. You will need to first teleport to the Resonance Beacon which is to the east of Feilian Beringal’s spawn. From there head to the quest marker which will lead you to a research camp in an old ruin.
You will see a large hole in the ground, so head down, and follow the path to encounter Chuyi. Talk to the NPC and then exhaust his dialogues to start Messenger.
How to complete Messenger in Wuthering Waves
You will be able to complete Messenger by speaking to the “Lazing Around Researcher”. You will be able to fund the NPC nearby, so just:
- Climb back out of the camp or you can just teleport to the Resonance Beacon east of Feilian Beringal’s spawn.
- Head to the quest marker where you will see a man in a white coat infront of a camp.
- Interact with him and burn through all of his dialog.
- You will finally give him a data chip that needs to be delivered and you will round out the quest.
Rewards for completing the Messenger side quest in Wuthering Waves
After interacting with the researcher you will be able to automatically complete Messenger. Once done, you will receive the following reward:
- 100x Union EXP
- 10x Astrite
- 2x Advanced Resonance Potion
- 1x Advanced Sealed Tube
- 6000x Shell Credits
