The story of the Jingle Beast continues with the Under the Moonlit Banyan side quest in Wuthering Waves. It’s another very short mission that unlocks after you have met certain conditions and completed quests that lead up to it.
All you will need to do to round it out is to explore the area around the Violet Banyan. Here you will meet NPCs from the previous quests and by the end of it, you will receive a good amount of Shell Credits.

How to start Under the Moonlit Banyan in Wuthering Waves
To have the Under the Moonlit Banyan side quest available in Wuthering Waves, you will first need to complete these side missions:
- When the Forest is no longer Dim
- When Moonlight Shines in the Forest
- Wild Heart’s Return (Lingyang’s companion mission)
Once you have completed the above missions you will be required to make your way to the Violet Banyan. Teleport the nearest Resonance Beacon on the cliff, and then use your glider to get down.
Here you will meet Bei Shi, who is the NPC you encountered during Lingyang’s companion quest. Interact with her and exhaust all of her dialog options to activate Under the Moonlit Banyan.
How to complete Under the Moonlit Banyan
Completing the quest is pretty simple. You will just need to make your way to the quest marker, and then use your sensor. You will notice that Lingyang is already there, perched up on a root that hs jutting out of the Banyan.
Use the grappler to make your way up. Once you reach him, interact with him and exhaust all of his dialog options.
You will learn a bit more about the Jingle Beast, and the quest will automatically complete.

Upon completing the mission you will gain the following rewards:
- 10x Astrite
- 10,000x Shell Credits
