Wait for Godot is one of the shortest side quests in Wuthering Waves, where you will be required to take Midnight Ranger Godot’s place on guard duty for some time. The quest is given to you by Dedi who is located to the very East of the town of Jinzhou.
As the quest is pretty short and unlocks very early on in the RPG, the rewards it offers aren’t too impressive. However, these reward items you get can come in handy in the early game, especially the Shell Credits.
Below are the steps that you will need to complete to round out Wait for Godot in Wuthering Waves.
How to start Wait for Godot in Wuthering Waves
To start Wait for Godot you will need to travel east from the town of Jinzhou and north of Tower of Adversity. You will notice an output by the sea and inside a base near a watchtower you will find Dedi. Talk to the NPC and he will ask you if you can help him out by filling in for Midnight Ranget Godot for some time.
How to complete Wait for Godot in Wuthering Waves
After speaking to Dedi here are a few things you will need to do in order to complete this side mission:
Step 1: Head to the watchtower
The next quest marker will be on top of the watchtower which is right beside the base. So after talking to Dedi head out and climb up the structure.
As soon as you get to the top, the next part of the quest will begin.
Step 2: Investigate the “Mysterious Sound”
Once you reach the quest marker, you will get the following prompt “Mysterious Sound”. You will need to investigate the source of it. So look to your left from the tower and you will find some TDs on the sand below.
Step 3: Defeat the TDs
The TDs will be very low-level enemies and you will not have much trouble taking them down. Make quick work of them and you will get the following rewards:
- 2x Medium Resonance Potion
- 2x Medium Energy Core
- 1x Medium Sealed Tube
- 3000x Shell Credits
A chest will also spawn after you defeat the enemies, and it will give:
- 20x Union EXP
- 10x Astrite
- 2x Wood Textured Shard
- 1x Basic Energy Core
- 1x Tyro Pistols
- 1x Medium Resonance Potion
- 3000x Shell Credits
You do not need to go back and talk to Dedi to end Wait for Godot in Kuro Games’ RPG. The side quest will round out as soon as you kill the TDs.
