Zenless Zone Zero leaks from a reliable leaker, Leifa, has speculated a brand new Agent class called Rupture.
This is rumored to be Yixuan’s class along with other Agents in the near future. This could be the start of a new meta in Zenless Zone Zero, depending on how powerful Rupture becomes.
New Rupture class revealed in Zenless Zone Zero leaks
According to the leaks from Leifa, there isn’t too much information on the Rupture mechanics at the moment.
Rupture Agents are speculated to be capable of dealing damage while having good survivability. Their mode of damage will primarily be through large amounts of burst damage by ignoring enemy defenses via Sheer DMG.
Sheer DMG is expected to be a new mechanic. It is a damage multiplier that scales off of a stat called Sheer Force. There isn’t a concrete idea as to what Sheer DMG is. However, it is expected to bypass the DEF of enemies.
Additionally, Rupture Agents could have a new mechanic called Rage. Every Rupture Agent will have an innate Rage Generation Value that determines how much Rage they generate in combat, similar to Energy Regen.
There is an additional stat called Rage Generation Rate, which increases the passive regeneration as well as the amount of Rage gained from attacking enemies. Rage is expected to work very similarly to Energy Regen that is used to unleash EX Special attacks.
The only Agent that is currently rumored to use Rupture is Yixuan, as mentioned earlier. She is expected to be released in the ZZZ 2.0 update, as she was revealed in the drip marketing alongside Pan Yinhu.
Other Agents expected to be part of the ZZZ 2.0 banners include Pan Yinhu, Ju Fufu, Astra Yao and Caesar. Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 is likely to go live on June 4, 2025.
