A recent string of League of Legends leaks suggests that Linkin Park will be singing the Worlds 2024 anthem which will be titled “Heavy is the Crown”. With the international event set to start in just a couple of weeks, Riot was yet to announce anything official regarding this year’s anthem.
The Big Bad Bear Twitter handle has recently revealed that the band which has recently made a comeback with new vocalist Emily Armstrong will be the ones singing the Worlds 2024 Anthem.
When is the League of Legends Worlds 2024 Anthem dropping?
According to the leak, the Worlds 2024 Anthem which is called “Heavy is the Crown” will be officially released on Tuesday, September 24, 8 AM PT. Additionally, it will also be featured in Arcane Season 2 as one of the official soundtracks.
This is indeed big news for both fans of the MOBA as well as the band and many in the community are looking forward to how well the Worlds anthem turns out this year.
Linkin Park has recently made a comeback with new lead vocalist Emily Armstrong, and the song “The Emptiness Machine“. While there has been a lot of controversy around the vocalist herself, it will still mean a lot for the League of Legends community if the band eventually does end up making the Words 2024 Anthem.
The Twitter handle from where the leak originates has usually been quite accurate when it comes to community rumors and leaks. So it’s very likely that Linkin Park and “Heavy is the Crown” will be featured as this year’s anthem.
League of Legends Worlds 2024 officially starts on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, so Riot releasing the Worlds anthem one day before the competition is pretty usual on their part.
