All Pokemon TCG Pocket immersive cards: How to get, replay animations, drop rates

Pokemon TCG Pocket allows you to unlock special immersive cards that instantly stand out because of their artwork and animations. As soon as you open them in a pack, a brief animation takes over the screen, and to be fair, it’s one of the most pleasing mechanics in the game.

It is no surprise that immersive cards are extremely rare in Pokemon TCG Pocket, only second to the Crown rarity gold cards. In the guide below, we’ve explained how you can get each of these immersive cards in the game and replay their animations at your will.

There are two ways you can instantly identify an immersive card in Pokemon TCG Pocket. First is the unique animation triggered when you open them from a pack. Secondly, you’ll notice three golden stars in the bottom left corner of the card.

In case you haven’t noticed, you get Pack Points every time you open a pack or consume pack stamina in the game. You can find your owned Pack Points for each pack right below it on the right side, and tapping on them will take you to the shop.

You can carry a maximum of 2500 Pack Points/pack, so make sure to spend them from time to time.

Are immersive cards stronger than standard ex cards?

No, as it turns out, the immersive cards only offer a visual upgrade over the standard ex cards for the Pokemon mentioned above. Although the art on these variants is as spectacular as it gets, you’ll find the same stats, energy requirements, and attacks.

How to replay immersive card animations in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Steps to replay immersive card animations in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Follow these simple steps to enjoy the animations on your immersive cards at your own will:

  1. Open the game and open the My Cards section. It is the second option from the left on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap on the Search icon to open a menu that allows you to adjust filters and narrow down your search.
  3. Click on the three gold stars from the rarity section. You can also select the energy type to further narrow the search, but considering there are only nine such cards in the game, you can avoid choosing the type.
  4. All immersive cards that you own in Pokemon TCG Pocket will now appear.
  5. Tap on the card once to enlarge it and get its details like rarity, pack, and Dex number.
  6. On this screen, tap and hold the card.
  7. Wait for a couple of seconds, and the immersive card animation should begin.
