The Battlefield 6 beta is currently live for PCs, offering players a glimpse into a next-gen first-person shooter, built from the ground up for modern hardware. To this extent, Electronic Arts has provided quite an extensive list of PC system requirements.
More on these PC system requirements, and an overall analysis of the expected performance below.
Battlefield 6 PC System Requirements Detailed

You can find the PC system requirements for Battlefield 6 listed below, sorted into both Minimum and Recommended configurations. Do note that as the game is currently in beta, the indicated requirements may change in the near future – that is, during the official, retail launch of the game.
Minimum
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or an Intel Core i5-8400
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6 GB) or an Nvidia RTX 2060
- DirectX: Version 12
- Disk Space: 55 GB minimum
Recommended
- Operating System: Windows 11
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or an Intel Core i7-10700
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or an Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti
- DirectX: Version 12
- Disk Space: 80 GB
Interestingly, the minimum requirements also seem to mention the use of a hard drive. This is especially surprising, given that Battlefield 6 is a current-gen game, and these titles do not work well with mechanical drives.
Regardless, it might be worth switching to faster storage – just in case. Even a SATA-based SSD should offer a significant performance uplift over the likes of a traditional HDD.
As far as the rest of the PC system requirements go, it appears to be shockingly tame. The game seems rather optimized for lower-end systems, and it is nice to see EA actually pay attention to PC optimization, for a change.
Hopefully, this should translate well into handhelds as well.
