Best Necromancer build in Diablo 4 Season 8

Diablo 4 Season 8 is finally here and the Necromancer with almost every build has finally risen to the top of the list as one of the best classes to use while dealing with Belial’s lies in the Sanctuary.

Minions have always been the signature build with this class and it continues to work wonders even in Season 8. While it works wonders even in the endgame stages, we recommend switching out the Bone Spirit build once you’ve hit level 60.

How to play Minions Necromancer in Diablo 4 Season 8

Although Blood Surge will be your primary source of damage here, your minions will do most of the fighting for you. This way, you’ll be able to stay behind the protection of your Skeleton Warriors and your Golems and safely deal with the enemy.

However, the only downside to this build is the minion AI, because it can be slightly unpredictable at times. Other than that, it’s a strong build that you should consider if you’re looking to play as a Necromancer.

The gameplay loop for this build is as follows:

Iron Maiden – Blood Surge – Raise Skeleton – Corpse Tendrils – Golem – Iron Maiden

You start off with the Iron Maiden where you curse an area, and enemies in the area take 30% of your overall damage every 2 seconds, and whenever they deal any direct damage. Use Blood Surge to deal damage to them and create corpses.

Now, Raise Skeletons and then use Corpse Tendrils to draw enemies is an area. Raise Golems and then cast Iron Maiden again to repeat the loop.

This build lacks an Ultimate skill, but since your minions will be doing most of the fighting for you, you won’t need an Ultimate. Your emergency skill here is Blood Mist because it grants you immunity and heals you, allowing you to get out of sticky situations.

• Golem: Iron. Sacrifice them to get increased Critical Strike damage. 

How to play the Bone Spirit Necromancer in Diablo 4 Season 8

The Bone Spirit build is an all-around damage dealer. Not only does it have a high single-target damage, you can also use it to wipe out groups of enemies instantly.

The gameplay loop for this build is as follows: 

Blood Surge – Raise Skeleton – Corpse Tendrils – Decrepify – Bone Prison – Bone Spirit

Blood Surge is your key skill and will help you create corpses to raise skeletons. From the corpses that your skeletons create, use Corpse Tendrils pull enemies together. Then hit them with Decrepify to proc the Lucky Hit crowd control bonus and use Bone Prison to make them vulnerable. Finally, trigger Bone Spirit to explode everything in one shot. 

Although this gameplay loop is slightly hard to master, it’s one of the hardest hitters in the game. You can sacrifice your Skeletal Warriors to get more damage output but that’s a riskier choice.

• Harlequin Crest: It’s the best in slot helmet for this build because it gives damage reduction and +4 to all skills. 
• Banished Lord’s Talisman: The Bone Spirit Necromancer build is crafted around this Unique because it’ll ensure that all your skills will overpower once you’ve spent 275 Essence. 
• Blood Moon Breaches: This works in tandem with the Banished Lord’s Talisman and gives you damage multipliers when you overpower the enemy.

When creating this build, make sure you build into the Willpower and Intelligence stat. Furthermore, when considering the Gems, use Amethyst on your weapons for additional Critical Strike Chance, Diamond on your Jewellery for increased Elemental Resistance, and Ruby on your Armor for increased Maximum Health.
