Best ways to get cooking ingredients in Throne and Liberty
When you click on the ingredients after opening the cooking menu on an oven you will get the “How to acquire” option. Selecting that will let you know where you get that particular ingredient.
Here are some of the best ways to acquire cooking ingredients in Throne and Liberty:
1) Farming the open world
Most of your cooking ingredients can be obtained by just farming the open world. If you want Black Pig Pork, you will be able to obtain it by just farming Black Boars in the rain. You can get Golden Rye from the Violent Harvester in the Golden Rye Pastures.
So exploring the world and farming it for resources will be one of the best ways of getting cooking ingredients in Throne and Liberty.
2) Amitoi Expedition
Amitoi Expedition is a Life Skill that you will be able to use to passive farm Salt. This is one of the core cooking ingredients in Throne and Liberty and you will be using it in almost every recipe. So make sure you have this skill active.
3) Bought from merchants
Some basic ingredients can be obtained by purchasing them from Sundries Merchant. While most ingredients have an infinite supply that you can purchase, some like the Eggs and Golden Rye have daily quantity limits. So make sure you are checking with the merchants once every day.

How to level up cooking in the Throne and Liberty
You will be able to get your hands on better recipes once you level up your character’s cooking skills in the MMO. The only way to level up cooking will be to make food that gives an EXP bonus.
The maximum cooking level is 25, and from level 1 you will start unlocking more recipes as you progress through the tiers. So you will need to keep checking which recipe provides the highest EXP boost at your level.
Then pick the food item that does not require too many ingredients to make, and keep cooking them to level this skill up.
You will notice that some recipes will let you use substitute ingredients if you do not have the primary resource. This will let you keep cooking the item if you aare low on the main resource.
Try to max out the cooking level as soon as you can so that you get access to high-tier recipes early on.
