Dragon Age: The Veilguard has no dearth of puzzles for you to solve, and The Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain is one of them.
You will come across this puzzle towards the later stages of the game, and can only be accessed once you’ve completed the “Lair of the Dragon King” quest that you get from Taash.

How to access and solve The Treasure of Sharkmouth Mountain puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
This puzzle is located in the Rivain Coast, a region that you will be able to access once you’ve met the Gray Wardens in the game.
Similar to the Lighthouse Puzzle, to solve this one, you’ll need to rotate four statues in specific directions in order to unlock the Gray Warden tower within Sharkmouth Mountain.
The solution to The Treasure of the Sharkmouth Mountain is as follows:
- Left statue (Ser Dheon): Needs to be facing forward
- Middle-left statue (Ser Ifean): Needs to be facing backward
- Middle-right statue (Ser Cruach): Needs to be facing to their left
- Right statue (Ser Rian the Red): Needs to be facing to their right
While the puzzle itself is easy, it’s tedious because you’ll have to first locate four statues with plaques on them which will tell you the direction in which the other statues need to be turned.
The area is quite big, so finding these statues can be a task. Furthermore, if you move out of an area then the enemies that you defeat there will respawn, forcing you to defeat them over and over again.
When you finally get the statues in the positions mentioned above, the Gray Warden tower will be unlocked, and you can step inside to claim your prize. There are three chests for you to unlock, each with some unique pieces of gear and consumables.
