The sequel to 2018’s acclaimed STALKER: Shadow of Chornobyl, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is set to launch sometime later this month. To say that the hype surrounding the game is massive would be an understatement – after all, Heart of Chornobyl is the second game in the series, launching nearly 17 years after the first game.

Stalker 2 is set to launch on November 20, 2024 worldwide across all supported platforms.

The game is currently not listed for a PlayStation 5 release as of the time of writing this article. However, the game is available to play via Nvidia’s GeForce Now game streaming service – which should make it a lot more accessible.

Is Stalker 2 on Xbox Game Pass?
Stalker 2 is available as a day 1 release for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service. The game can be downloaded via Game Pass for both Xbox and PCs.
Xbox Series X/S users will require the Ultimate tier, while PC players will need a subscription to the regular PC Game Pass tier. The title will not be available on the Standard or Core tiers however.

Physical Edition
Includes the contents of the Standard Edition, and is available at $59.99. The physical version comes bundled with a steelbook, keychain and patches – among other items.
There also exists a Limited Edition ($79.99), a Collector’s Edition ($179.99) and an Ultimate Edition ($379.99).
Digital Edition
- Standard: Costs $59.99, and includes the base game along with its pre-order bonuses.
- Deluxe: Costs $79.99, and includes the base, pre-order bonuses and additional items such as a Digital artbook and soundtrack – along with certain costumes and skins.
- Ultimate: Costs $110 and includes everything from the Deluxe edition, in addition to future DLCs, (such as 2 story expansions).
