2) Dead Space (75% off at $14.99)
2023’s Dead Space remake was a perfect example of a remake done right. The remake improved greatly upon the 2008 original, opting to completely overhaul some of the more tedious sections with modern controls.
It’s a love letter to fans of the franchise, and a delightfully scary science fiction adventure.
3) Control Ultimate Edition (80% off at $7.99)
Remedy Entertainment’s Control has been out for a while, and still remains one of the best games published by the company. Players take control of Jesse Faden of the FBC (Federal Bureau of Control) as they tackle down reality-altering threats.
It’s a solid game overall, and incorporates clever gameplay elements in addition to just plain shooting.
4) Hitman: World of Assassination (90% off at $2.99)
The sixth mainline entry in the franchise, Hitman: World of Assassination has players take control of the Hitman, as they track down and eventually assassinate targets. World of Assassination has an unparalleled amount of freedom, encouraging players to get creative and deal with their enemies in multiple ways – providing a ton of replayability.
5) The Last of Us: Part 1 (50% off at $29.99)
The Last of Us needs no introduction, and is widely considered as one of the best games on the PlayStation. The original PS3 game was remade from the ground up for the PlayStation 5 and ported over to the PC, which is currently on sale.
It is a great game that presents a gripping narrative, which is definitely worth playing atleast once.
6) Remnant II (50% off at $24.99)
Remnant 2 is a sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes, and is a natural evolution of the first game – featuring more drawn out boss fights and smoother combat. Remnant 2 can also be considered to be a souls-like, but with guns.
7) Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (40% off at $11.99)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the last in the Metal Gear Solid series directed by Hideo Kojima, and is also one of the best stealth games you can play today. While the game does encourage stealth, it is also possible to opt for a guns-blazing, lethal approach.
Despite its deficiencies, MGSV TPP remains an amazing game you should definitely try out.
