Dynasty Warriors Origins is the newest, upcoming entry in the Dynasty Warriors franchise, boasting large scale battles and adrenaline-fuelled combat sections. Being a part of the 28th anniversary of the franchise, Origins aims to do a lot more, and is targeting a January 2025 release date.

When does Dynasty Warriors Origins release?
Dynasty Warriors Origins releases worldwide on January 17, 2025. This hack and slash ARPG will be made available on multiple platforms, including the PC.
You can get a glimpse of the game’s combat by playing through the demo, which is out on major storefronts as of the time of writing this article.

Dynasty Warriors Origins is set to launch for the following platforms:

- Xbox Series X
- Xbox Series S
There has yet to be an announcement of a possible Nintendo Switch version. Given the massively underpowered nature of the console, it is unlikely to ever happen. A Switch 2 release could very well be on the cards though – although this remains to be seen.
