The Great White Tsuchinoko minion is one of the many rewards that you will be able to get your hands on by participating in the Final Fantasy XIV 2025 Heavensturn event. The occasion celebrates Eastern culture and the Year of the Snake and has brought with it a few challenges that you can complete to get your hands on a fair bit of loot.
One of the more sought-after rewards in the event is the great White Tsuchinoko minion. However, it’s not something that you will get your hands on right away, and there are a few steps that you will need to take in order to get it in the MMO.
Final Fantasy XIV Heavensturn 2025 event guide: Obtaining the Great White Tsuchinoko minion
To get your hands on the Great White Tsuchinoko minion in Final Fantasy XIV, here are some steps that you will need to take:
1) Start the Heavensturn 2025 event
The first thing that you will need to do is to begin the 2025 Heavensturn celebrations. To do this, you will need to make your way to the Aftcastle in Limsa Lominsa. Here look for the NPC named Hebi Bugyo (X:11.5, Y:13.9) and then start the level 15 quest “Heavensssturn Trivia”.
Once you have accepted the mission, you will need to find the location of Bugyo’s three sisters who will each ask you a snake-related question.
To complete the quest you will need to answer each of them correctly.
2) Answer the snake-based questions correctly
Here are all the questions and their correct answers:

3) Turn in the quest
Once you have been able to answer each of the questions correctly, head back to Hebi Bugyo at the Aftcastle to turn in the quest. Interact with the NPC one last time and you will receive the Great White Tsuchinoko minion.
Other Heavensturn 2025 event-exclusive rewards in Final Fantasy XIV
Apart from the Great White Tsuchinoko, you will also be able to purchase a fair number of Heavensturn event-exclusive rewards in Final Fantasy XIV. Just interact with Hebi Shonin (X:11.4, Y:13.6) and you will be able to purchase the following rewards:
- Zoni (16 Gil)
- Magicked Prism (Advent Cakes) (19 Gil)
- Oriental New Year’s Meal (5,000 Gil)
- Springtide Fan Stand (2,000 Gil)
Additionally, you will also be able to get your hands on an Omikujishi fortune. This item gives you a hint about how the next 12 months are going to go for you (make sure to not take it too seriously).
You can purchase as many Omikujishi fortune as you want. They go for 100 Gil each and if you are lucky you might just get a good fortune right away. To purchase Omikujishi in Final Fantasy XIV, you will need to interact with Far Eastern Omikujishi (X:11.7, Y:14.1).
Pay the NPC 100 Gil which will then trigger a cut scene from a red box your fortune will be revealed and displayed on the screen.
