Pop-up Camps are similar to Base Camp tents that you will be able to set up in particular parts of a region in Monster Hunter Wilds. They will require a small fee to be erected by acts exactly like the Base Camp tents allowing you to change equipment, cook meals, refill your items, and more.

Moreover, these camps also act as fast travel points in the RPG, allowing you to have a much easier time traversing the open world.

So if you are looking to make the most of the Pop-ups Camps system in Monster Hunter Wilds, the guide below will help you out.

To set up a Pop-up Camo, you will first need to find a possible camp location. You will find these areas marked on the map by a wooden sign that has a tent on it. You will generally find these camp locations near the edges of the map in a region.

So once you find a possible campsite, put a marker on it and head there. if you eventually start seeing butterflies flying around the area, you will know that you have come to the right place. Moreover, another indication that you have reached the right spot will be the lighting up of your Camping Kit.

So once you see your Camping Kit light up, you will need to equip it from the items list on the bottom right. Scroll through it with L1+Square/Circle till you find the kit. Once equipped, use it and you will receive a prompt that asks you to pay 200 Guild Points to set it up. Pay the fee, and a cutscene will play where two Palicos build you the camp.

Note: You can only set up a maximum of 4 Pop-up Camps. If you wish to add more you will need to demolish the previous ones.

Can Pop-up Camps be destroyed in Monster Hunter Wilds?

Apart from you demolishing your camps, monsters will be able to destroy them as well. As these are located in the wild, certain camp locations are present in dangerous spots where large monsters often frequent.

For example, the Windward Plains has a total of 12 Pop-up Camp locations that you will be able to use. However, out of these, only 3 are safe, while 4 are insecure and 5 are located in very dangerous spots.

So if you have a pop-up camp in a dangerous location, it will likely be run over by monsters.
