How to reach the Veil of the Forsaken to find the Scylla boss in Fisch Mariana’s Veil

Scylla Boss encounter Fisch

The Scylla boss is located in the Calm Zone’s Veil of the Forsaken region. To reach the area, there are some steps that you will need to take:

Step 1: Reach the Calm Zone

To reach the Calm Zone you will need to head to the very bottom of Mariana’s Veil. Once you reach Abyssal Zenith you will need to find the entrance to the zone at the following coordinates: -4145, -11210, 1395.

Submarines will no longer be usable here, so you will need to explore the caves on foot. Keep going and you will eventually reach the first Puzzle Room.

Step 2: Start the first puzzle

Make your way to the south of the Calm Zone to start the first puzzle sequence. Then head to the Rainbow River’s end at the following coordinates: -4305, -11230, 1955. Here you will need to dive underwater, and then swim through a tunnel till you reach a large gate at the following coordinates: -4330, -11180, 3120.

Step 3: Unlock the Large Gate

Now to unlock the large gate you will need to place three rare fish in the designated slots. The fish themselves can be caught from the previous regions of the Mariana’s Veil. Here is a list of them all and the region in which they are found:

FishCatch Location
Magma LeviathanVolcanic Vents
Frozen LeviathanChallenger’s Deep
Crowned AnglerfishAbyssal Zenith

Once you have placed the required fish in the designated slots, the large gate will unlock and you will gain access to a chamber that is filled with rainbow water.

Step 4: Unlock the Veil of the Forsaken

In the chamber, you will need to complete a statue puzzle, which will then finally unlock the Veil of the Forsaken for you. There are four Scylla statues here and you will need to move each of them to their correct position.

The puzzle is very easy to complete and takes just some trial and error to overcome. It does, however, come with a few rules that you need to keep in mind:

  • At the start, every statue will line up in a straight line and their correct positions will be randomized every time the puzzle resets.
  • Pushing the statue from behind moves them forward while pushing them from the front will push them backward.
  • When you place a statue in the correct position it will light up green. However, you will have just one minute to solve the puzzle. When the timer runs out, the puzzle resets, and the correct positions are also randomized.

Once you have successfully placed all Scylla statues correctly a trapdoor will open and jumping down it will automatically teleport you to the Veil of the Forsaken kicking off the Scylla boss fight.

The Scylla has four heads and each will them will through a different fireball at you. If you are struck by all four types of fireballs, you will die instantly and be forced to respawn back at the Chessboard Puzzle.

To defeat Scylla, you will need to assemble a Large Crossbow by finding its three different parts that are scattered around the arena. Here are the parts and the coordinates at which you will find them:

Crossbow BowNortheast side of the chamber: -4800, -11185, 6610
