Destiny 2 Edge of Fate‘s latest raid, The Desert Perpetual, is bringing the heat to every single Guardian trying to beat the Vex incursion right now.
While the raid isn’t mechanically heavy, it’s bosses are proving to be a massive DPS check, which has left many players struggling to get their numbers in order.

Which Team Won The Desert Perpetual Raid Race in Destiny 2?
After 16 gruelling hours, SnazzyRocks and their teammates have managed to best the final boss in The Desert Perpetual, securing the title of World’s First. aTides and their team, despite being the first team to close in on the final encounter, came in a close second place.
The Desert Perpetual has already joined the ranks of Salvations Edge, Vault of Glass and Last Wish, as one of the longest running raid races so far.
However, it’s not the mechanical complexity which makes the raid so difficult, it’s the health pool that the bosses come with.
It seems like Bungie didn’t scale the raid boss health keeping in mind the overall weapon damage output. There have been teams who’ve landed multiple Thundercrashes on some of the bosses in some encounters, only to see that the enemy was still standing strong.
While the race has concluded, the efforts to defeat the final Vex boss at the end of the raid still continues, with multiple teams trying to finish it within the set time of 24 hours.
