The Desert Perpetual loot table features some of the best weapons that Destiny 2 has to offer at this point in time.
In fact, if you’ve been wondering about the brand-new heavy crossbow, then look no further. You’ll get it from this raid itself, provided the RNG gods are on your side.
Apart from that, there’s also an Exotic weapon up for grabs, but you need to be really lucky to get that on your first run. If, however, you do manage to complete the raid while the contest mode is active, you’ll automatically get it.

All Weapon and Armor Rewards in Destiny 2’s The Desert Perpetual Raid
The entire raid is broken down into four different encounters, but in a non-linear fashion. That means, you can select the order in which you want to approach these encounters, barring the boss encounter.

- Whirling Ovation – Exotic Strand Rocket Launcher
While you cannot increase the drop rates for the other weapons, you can do it for the Whirling Ovation. There are several triumphs associated with the raid, and completing them will increase the chances of this Exotic dropping for you.
