On release, Battlefield 6 will feature nine different maps that you will be able to enjoy. However, for the open beta phase of the shooter, the map pool will be pretty limited.
For the first weekend, you will have access to only three maps, which include Iberian Offensive, Liberation Peak, and Siege of Cairo. Fortunately, for the second phase, which is from August 14, 2025, to August 17, 2025, you will have access to a fourth Empire State map.
Every map in Battlefield 6 is expected to be unique and play out quite differently. Our guide below goes over each of the nine maps, their settings, and the unique features that you can expect from them.
Every map in Battlefield 6

Below is a list of all nine maps that will be available in Battlefield 6 on launch:
Map | Feature/Description |
---|---|
Siege of Cairo | This map will be set in the middle of Cairo and will highlight urban combat as one of its core features. Most of the map will be packed with narrow alleyways, ruins, as well as open streets. You will also find tanks roaming the area. |
Iberian Offensive | This map is set in Gibraltar, and while featuring urban warfare, it will focus more on destroying the surrounding environment. As a result, you will have crumbling structures here, access to rooftops, and multiple routes that can be used to flank the enemy. |
Liberation Peak | Battlefield 6’s Liberation Peak is set in the mountains of Tajikistan. It will be one of the larger maps in the shooter and will primarily be composed of rocky open terrain with a lot of vehicular warfare. |
Empire State | Empire State is an “infantry-only” map. Hence, it will feature more close-range combat than vehicular warfare. The map is located in the streets of Brooklyn, New York. |
Operation Firestorm | It’s a returning map from Battlefield 3 and will mostly feature oil fields that have been set ablaze. This map will heavily lean on long-range combat as well as vehicular warfare. |
Saints Quarter | Saints Quarter is located in Old Town Gibraltar. It will mostly lean on fast-paced combat, where you will primarily engage the enemy in close quarters. You will also have a lot of destructible structures here. |
New Sobek City | This map is set on the outskirts of Cairo. There will be open deserts and narrow passages all over. |
Mirak Valley | Mirak Valley will be the largest map in Battlefield 6 on release day. It will feature every type of vehicle, large open areas, as well as long corridors for tanks to wreak havoc. |
Manhattan Bridge | The map is set on the iconic bridge of New York City, and it will have both air combat as well as close-range combat. |
