Status ChangeEffect
StrongThis is one of the more powerful buffs in the game that you will find on some hostile Digimon. Moreover, stats buffed by an enemy’s Strong state do not reset with the passage of turns. Only a Charge Break attack can reset its effects.

GutsThe Digimon affected by it keep 1 HM even if they take damage that would otherwise take their HP down to Zero. This means that they cannot be instantly KO’d. The Guts effect can be obtained as a skill effect or by other means and will be denoted with its own icon.
ReverseIt reverses the favorable and unfavorable attributes of a Digimon. This effect will be continuous throughout the course of the encounter.
DiseasedThis prevents a Digimon from recovering SP. The Status Change will end after a specified number of terms have elapsed. Specific items and skills will be able to help a Digimon out of this status effect as well.
TauntingDigimon with the Taunting status will be targeted with attacks during an encounter. Other Digimon cannot be targeted and can only be hit with attacks that hit all enemies. The aunt status will last for only one turn.

The best Status Effects in Digimon Story Time Stranger

Immobilization, Chaos, and Deadly Poison are by far the best Status Effects that you will want to have in your party. Deadly Poison is especially useful when it comes to dealing with bosses who have a ton of HP.

The status effect will chip away at 12% of the enemy’s max HP every time they use their turn. You can further supplement this with the Injured Status Change, which will not allow the boss to heal up any of the HP that they have lost.

Immobilize and Chaos will let you completely stun an enemy and not let them attack you during their turn. This can give you a nice window to layer on the buffs and debuffs on the enemy, without having to worry about them using their attacks on you during their turn.

Taunt is a nice Status Change to have as well, but it only lasts for one round. So you can use it tandem with other effects to make fights easier.
