Glorious Loong’s Pearl is one of the main exploration missions that you will come across in Wuthering Waves after you have made your way to Mt. Firmament. It’s a pretty long questline, however, in terms of difficulty, it’s not that challenging.
Here is a guide on everything that you need to do in order to complete the Glorious Loong’s Pearl quest in Wuthering Waves.
How to start the Glorious Loong’s Pearl quest in Wuthering Waves
To start the mission you will need to make your way to the southeast of Luminous Shore and then head southwest. You will find an altar there, and interact with it to start the Glorious Loong’s Pearl mission.
How to complete Glorious Loong’s Pearl in Wuthering Waves
Here are a few steps that you will need to take in order to complete the Glorious Loong’s Pearl quest in Wuthering Waves:
Step 1: Save the girl and place the Pearl on the Altar of Worship
Head to the quest marker on Xuanji Ridge where you will need to save a young woman, Shicheng, from some Tacet Discords. Beat them and then talk to the NPC to move on to the next part of the quest.
After you have talked to her make your way to the Altar of Initiation which is nearby. It will be releasing a beam of light that is connecting other Altars. Follow the trajectory into a cave where you will find another Altar, this time it’s near the NPC but it’s not being able to connect the beam of light to another Altar.
You will need to rotate it to help the light pass through a crack in the wall and reach another Altar.
Keep repeating this as you head further into the cave till you are finally able to connect the beam to the Altar of Radiance. You will find a glowing spot there on the ground. Stand on it and then align the pearl with the dragon’s mouth.
If you do it successfully there will be a short cutscene, and you will complete the first step of the Glorious Loong’s Pearl questline in Wuthering Waves.
Step 2 Boundary of Yellow and White quest: Connect the lights with Altar of Radiance
The next step of the mission is a part of the Boundary of Yellow and White questline in Wuthering Waves. To complete it, you will need to activate the Altar of Initiation to connect its light to the next device which is sealed inside a Photon Barrier.
To break the barrier you will need to destroy the Photon Vault with the use of a ranger. Once that is done, the seal will be destroyed and you will be able to move to adjust the Altar.
Once you get the light beam connecting, follow it, and then keep connecting it to subsequent Altars. You will meet enemies the further you go, so take them out, till you reach the fourth Altar as well as a Photon Barrier that is blocking your access to it.
Destroy the Photon Vaults again (there will be 3 in total) and then defeat the Tacet Discord that spawns to be able to rotate the Altar and connect the lights. Once you have successfully connected the beam, a spot will glow on the ground. Stand there and align the pearl at the dragon’s mount once again.
Completing it will round out the second step of Glorious Loong’s Pearl questline in Wuthering Waves and provide you with 30 Astrite.
Step 3: Where the Waterfalls Meet
The next step of the questline is called Where the Waterfalls Meet. To complete it, you will need to just make your way to the quest marker and activate another Altar. This Altar is located behind a waterfall and you wil need to keep rotating devices to help it connect the beams to other devices.
This part of the quest is relatively short. Once you have connected all the dots, stand in the highlighted circle again, aim the pearl for the dragon’s mouth, and complete the mission. You will gain 30 Astrite for your efforts.
Step 4: Among the Shoals and Islands
For the next part of the quest, make your way to the quest location again and activate the Altar. You will then need to follow the light and keep adjusting the devices so that you can keep linking them.
As you come across the fourth Altar, you will need to rotate it three times to link it to another device that is on the top of a ruined building nearby. Rotate that one two times so that it connects to the Altar of Radiance.
You will then need to use the Chronosorter which is to the south of the building to change the flow of time in the area. Make sure that the needle is to the left, and you will then see that an area has been highlighted near the dragon’s mouth. Aim another pearl in there to complete it.
You will gain another set of 30 Astrites for your efforts.
Step 5: Arch-Shaped Rock
The next mission of the Glorious Loong’s Questline in Wuthering Waves is called the Arc-Shaped Rock. To complete it, head to the quest navigation mark which will lead you to the final Altar of Initiation.
You can activate it by moving next to the device and completing a Clang Bang Echo Challenge. Here you will turn into a Clang Bang and be made to fill in for a missing block and place yourself in a way that both the ice structures match.
So once you transform, climb to the sculpture which is on the left to face the Altar. Once the challenge is complete, you will unlock the fourth Altar, so just aim the Pearl at the dragon’s mouth and round out this part of the quest by receiving 30 Astrite.
Step 6: The Last Ritual
The final section of the Glorious Loong’s Pearl questline in Wuthering Waves is called The Last Ritual. You will need to make your way back to Shicheng in Xuanji Ridge and talk to her.
Then head to the next marker to interact with the fire, and then make your way to where the meteor fell. You will find a storage device there next to a stone, pick up the stone with the Leviator feature and then insert it into the device.
A domain will pop up, enter it, and defeat all the enemies inside to complete it. You will be able to claim two Premium Supply Chests as a reward.
Once done, exit the domain and speak to Shicheng. Exhaust all of her dialogues and you will complete the Glorious Loong’s Pearl questline in Wuthering Waves. You will also get 40 Astrites and unlock the Gemberry trophy in Kuro Games‘ RPG.
