How to get mount in Diablo 4

In Diablo 4, exploring the Sanctuary without mounts can be a very difficult and a tedious process. While playing the campaign for the first time, you will have to wait for a long while to get a horse in the game.

Once you’ve unlocked your mount in the game, not only will you be able to travel from one place to another quicker, you will also be able to use their combat powers in the open world.

So, here’s how you can get a mount in Diablo 4.

How to unlock horse in Diablo 4

To unlock your mount in Diablo 4, you will have to complete the Donan’s Favor questline, which is the very first quest in Act 4.

As a part of this quest, you will be required to visit the Stable Master at Kyovashad to collect your first horse. Any mount-related cosmetics that you’ve purchased or acquired through the Season Pass will be available at the Stable after you’ve unlocked it.

Can you unlock your mount before Act 4 in Diablo 4?

Yes, you can unlock your mount before Act 4 in Diablo 4, but in order to do so, you will have to finish the campaign on one character.

After you’ve finished the campaign, whenever you create a new character in the Seasonal realm or in the Eternal Realm, you will be able to access your mount in the game from Level 1.

If you don’t want to play the Campaign all over again, especially in the Seasonal Realm, you need to choose the Skip Campaign feature, that is available to you only after you’ve completed the story missions on one character.

This choice is irreversible, and will remain locked for that particular character throughout the playthrough in Diablo 4.

That’s everything that you need to know about unlocking your horse in Diablo 4. Bear in mind that it will not give you an edge in combat, even with its combat-related abilities that you can trigger in the open world.
