Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is almost upon us and Godzilla is going to be present in the new season. Although it’s unclear in what capacity this character will be present, a skin sounds probably yet funny at the same time.
Back in the day, Fortnite also introduced an Optimus Prime skin so it’s not difficult for the company to convert huge characters into human-like models.
However, the idea of turning a giant radioactive lizard into a human sized skin can yield some really hilarious results.
As seen in the leaked keyart for the new season, a life-sized Godzilla is seen in the background. Further, considering that the new season revolves heavily around Japan, including the King of Monsters isn’t a bad idea.
And while Fortnite is known for its goofy effects when it comes to the cosmetics as a whole, transforming such a majestic lizard into a skin that looks like an inflatable costume is unique but funny and disappointing at the same time.
All this is completely speculation for now, especially since Epic Games hasn’t commented on it yet. Nor have the fans said anything about this issue in particular because the crossover with Godzilla is indeed a unique one.
While the idea of a skin is extremely hilarious at this point, it would be fun to have the King of Monsters as a boss on the island.
Huge bosses like Galactus have been included in Fortnite in the past so it’s nothing new entirely. Either way, Chapter 6 Season 1 is only a few days away so the answers to most of our questions will be available soon.
That said, with Godzilla being added to the loop, it does open up a possibility for the developers to include a Shin Godzilla skin later on as the season progresses.
