Character classes will play a big part in your end-game team compositions in Visions of Mana, allowing you to have a much easier time grinding through all the difficult content in the late game. Every character in the JRPG, has a class based on each of the elements along with an accompanying weapon.
This gives a lot of freedom not just in terms of builds, but party composition as well. Now adding Corestone and ability crafting to it will help you prepare your characters for any situation that you find yourself in.
Here is a guide on how you will be able to access all the classes in Visions of Mana.
Every class in Visions of Mana and how to get them

There are a total of eight elements in the game, each having an accompanying class attached to them. This is excepting the default class that all the characters have at the start of the game. This will let you have access to 45 classes across the five characters that you will get to play as.
Fortunately, you will not have to unlock each class individually for every character. All you will need to do is discover the Elemental Vessels, and you will get access to the corresponding elemental class for each character.
Moreover, each class is unlocked as part of the main narrative progression, so there is no chance of you missing out on any of them during your initial playthrough.
Here is how you can get every Elemental Vessel:
Elemental Vessel | How to get |
---|---|
Sylphid Boomerang | Arrival in Longren in Chapter One. |
Luna Globe | Meet Morley in Etaern in Chapter One. |
Undine Flash | After Palamena joins the party in Chapter Two |
Salamando Candle | After you leave the Free City of Tsaata in Chapter Four. |
Gnome Shovel | When you first visit Gudju in Chapter Four. |
Dryad Sprig | After Julei joins the party in Chapter Four. |
Lumina Lantern | After defeating Garethe in Chapter Five. |
Shade Sight | After repairing the collapsing building in Log’grattzo in Chapter Five. |
Note: As classes are tied to Elemental Vessels only one character will be able to use one specific elemental class at a time.
