Metaphor: ReFantazio, just like many AAA titles features multiple endings for you to unlock. Of all these endings, only one is the true ending, whereas the remaining are considered to be bad endings.
To unlock each of them, you’ll have to choose some specific options in the game. However, these endings don’t have any achievements or trophies associated with them.

How to get all endings in Metaphor: ReFantazio
There are four endings in total for Metaphor: ReFantazio, out of which only one is the true ending. So, here’s a list of all four endings and how you can get them.
Bad ending with the Prince
This ending occurs when you’ve reached the Elden Sanctum on 9/24. When you see the corpse of the Prince, a voice will reveal your true identity. You can choose to accept this or reject this.
If you choose to reject it, the game will come to an abrupt end, along with severe disagreements from your companions.
Bad ending with Louis
During the endgame stages, before the fight with Louis at the Skybound Avatar begins. You’ll be able to access this ending between 9/26 to 10/25.
Before the fight begins, Louis will give a very lengthy speech about the perfect world that he wants to create. If you agree with what he has to say, the game will end here itself.
Bad ending with More
This ending can be accessed after the first phase of the fight against Louis on the Tyrant’s Star has ended. At the end of the fight, there are a few cutscenes where the protagonist is about to die, but will be rescued by More.
She’ll transport you to a different location and will tell you that you were in a simulation like state and whatever you and your allies experienced was noting but fiction.
If you accept what More says, then the game will end here.
Can you get all the endings in Metaphor: ReFantazio in one playthrough?
Yes, it’s absolutely possible to get all the endings in a single playthrough. There’s an autosave point before each of the endings, so you can always experience it and then go back and select a different choice when you come to the said point.
It’s worth noting that these endings are mostly textual in nature, so you’ll have to do a lot of reading. Finally, the bad ending with More is right after a long boss fight, so if you want to get to the true ending, you need to finish the fight all over again.
How to get the true ending in Metaphor: ReFantazio
To get to the true ending, all you need to do is ignore the bad choices mentioned above, and then defeat Louis on 10/26.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll see multiple cutscenes where you will eventually be crowned as the king, followed by an epilogue where you’ll be shown the improved conditions of your kingdom.
