Status effects are a key part of the combat mechanic in Monster Hunter Wilds. These are special conditions that are either obtained or afflicted on your hunter or the monster that you are hunting.
This is why status effects come in two forms: Boosts or Ailments. Boosts are the buffs that have positive multipliers on certain attributes of either the hunter or the monster.
Ailments, on the other hand, are the status de-buffs that are inflicted either by the hunter on the monster or by the monster on the hunter. So if you looking to learn everything about Status Effects in the RPG, then the guide below will help you out.
List of Status Effect Boosts in Monster Hunter Wilds
As a hunter, here are some of the Status Boosts that you will need to worry about in Monster Hunter Wilds

 Meal Effects | Meal effects are the meal bonuses that you receive after consuming cooked food. | ・By cooking and eating any meal. |

 Fireblight | You or the monster burn every second when inflicted with Fireblight.
