Wuthering Waves 1.2 leaks are surfacing on various forums on the internet, hinting at what to expect in the upcoming patch. The game has just received its very first major update of 1.1. Yet the fanbase seems to earn more as the leaks can provide them an idea as to what is to come in 1.2 of this RPG.

All known leaked information for Wuthering Waves 1.2 update
Wuthering Waves 1.2 update will go live by the first week of August after Changli’s banner concludes in the second half. The recent leaks gave a hint on which characters will be arriving once the curtain falls on the ongoing version.
Xaingli Yao and Zhezi will most likely be the upcoming characters featured in the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update. Both of them are yet to make an appearance in the game. While Zhezi is someone about whom not much is available in the leak, that is not the case for Xiangli Yao. If the previous datamined information is correct, he will be one of Mortefi’s colleagues.
According to the leaks, he actually appeared in the Waking of the World trailer of the game. He is seen donning a futuristic labcoat and standing beside Mortefi in this trailer.
The leaks also claimed that there would be only events as version 1.2 will not have any major area expansion.
Kuro officially announced both Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao to be the featured 5 stars for 1.2 patch. But now new leaks has surfaced claiming there is a high chance that Xiangli Yao will be free.
Kuro Games is yet to announce what they plan to do especially in the character department for version 1.2.
Wuthering Waves 1.2 Zhezhi leaks
Recent developments have detailed Zhezhi’s entire kit, which is summarized below:
- Element: Glacio
- Weapon: Rectifier
- Normal Attack (Dimming Brush): Deals Glacio DMG with up to three strikes, which can be made to consume stamina in the case of a heavy attack. Counterattacks also deal Glacio DMG.
- Resonance Skill (Depiction): Dishes out Glacio DMG. Can consume 60 Afflatus to summon Spiritual Sketch Left and Spiritual Sketch Right on targets.
- Resonance Liberation (Spiritful Animation): Summons an Inklit Spirit whenever a Resonator deals DMG to enemies. The Spirit deals Glacio DMG, which is considered as a Basic ATK. Up to 21 Inklit Spirits can be summoned, 1 per second.
The leak also describes her Forte Circuits (Ink and Wash);
- Spiritual Sketch: The Spiritual Sketch can last up to 15 seconds, with no Sketch possessing duplicate summons.
- Heavy Attack/Composition: Using heavy attacks in mid-air, between combos or after a Resonance Skill will consume Stamina and 30 Afflatus to deal Glacio DMG to the target. Also summons the Spiritual Sketch: Middle.
- Resonance Skill/Stroke of Genius: Stroke of Genius replaces the Resonance Skill provided a Spiritual Sketch is active and in range. When activated, Zhezhi can teleport to the Sketch and thus remove it. This is followed by a Crane spirit summon, which deals Glacio DMG as Basic ATK. The effect also bestows a stack of Painter’s Delight, and lasts 8 seconds – stackable up to two times.
Resonance Skill/Stroke of Maestro: The Resonance Skill is replaced with the Stroke of Maestro if there are two stacks of Painter’s Delight in conjunction with a Spiritual Sketch. The effect is the same as the Stroke of Genius, with a bonus 18% Basic ATK DMG boost. This effect lasts for 22 seconds.
