Like Rune Slayer, choosing a race in Arcane Lineage is quite an important step of your journey. This is largely because each race offers a unique set of passive and racial abilities in this Roblox title. This selection also adds to the stats of your character, impacting the overall build.
As much as you’d want it to be the case, Arcane Lineage doesn’t have equally powerful races across the board. This, when combined with the game’s gacha mechanics, can make choosing a race stressful for many.
So, here’s an Arcane Lineage Race tier list and a guide on how to reroll for the best races.
Arcane Lineage Races tier list
In the table below, we’ve placed each race in Arcane Lineage in tiers ranging from S to C. The ones placed in the S tier are the strongest, while the ones in the C tier are the weakest.
Tier | Race |
---|---|
S | Lentum, Amorus, Sheea, Inferion |
A | Vydeer, Dullahan, Daminos |
B | Corvolus, Veneri, Stulus, Drauga, Estella |
C | Vastayan, Nisse |
Best races in Arcane Lineage

The best races in Arcane Lineage are the ones that can be obtained without rerolling. These include:
Lentum
Lentum is a slime-based race in Arcane Lineage, and here’s a rundown of what it offers:
- Racial abilities
- Bane (lv 20) – Apply poison to enemies with an AoE attack.
- Mucilage (lv 40) – Give yourself or allies a smile shield that absorbs damage for 3 turns.
- Passives
- Lv. 1 – You get 2 HP every turn.
- Lv. 1 – You can talk to slime statues / king without a Gelat ring.
- Lv. 1 – You resist Poison damage ranging from 20-45%.
- Lv 30 – Upon blocking a physical attack, your enemy is affected by the Blind and Weaken effects.
- Base stats
- STR: 1
- ARC: 1
- END: 3
- SPD: 2
- LCK: 1
To obtain this race, you have to talk to the state of the Slime King when you have a Gelat Ring. The statue’s location is right beside the Slayer Trainer. Kneel in front of the statue to begin the questline that has you talking to slimes and giving the king 100 slime chunks.
Upon quest completion, you’ll be able to choose the Lentum race.
Amorus
Here’s a rundown of Amorus in Arcane Lineage:
- Racial abilities
- Sinister Gaze (lv 5) – Deal damage to enemies while exchanging your buffs and debuffs with them.
- Undulating Hex (lv 35) – Apply one Hex and deal further damage based on your strength/arcane stats.
- Passives
- Lv. 1 – You’re weaker to Holy and Nature damage.
- Lv. 1 – You’re immune to Stuns.
- Lv 15 – Hexed and Stun effects gain immunity.
- Base stats
- STR: 3
- ARC: 3
- END: 2
- SPD: 1
- LCK: 1
To obtain this brilliant race, you’ll have to level up to 35 and then talk to Thanasius. Offering him these artifacts will grant you the ability to unlock Amorus:
- Phoenix Tear
- Lineage Shard
- Memory Fragment
- Soul Dust
- Void Key
- Narthana’s Sigil
- Darksigil
- Reality Watch
- Stellian Core
- Shifting Hourglass
- Expedite Anklet
- Chaos Orb
- Metrom’s Amulet
Sheea

The Sheea race in Arcane Lineage grants you these abilities and stats:
- Racial abilities
- Skyward Bolt – Deal shocking energy to the enemy, and there’s a chance of you blinding them.
- His Incandescence – Lets you remove debuffs from an ally and further boost their most powerful stat.
- Passives
- Lv. 1 – You have four lives instead of three.
- Lv. 1 – All moves have -1 cooldown.
- Base stats
- STR: 3
- ARC: 3
- END: 1
- SPD: 1
- LCK: 2
To obtain this race, you’ll be expected to max out the Church of Rapheon Covenant and defeat the Seraphon boss.
Inferion
Here’s a rundown of the abilities and stats offered by the Inferion race in Arcane Lineage:
- Racial abilities
- Inferno Rift – Deal AoE fire DMG to your enemies.
- Passives
- Cursed Race – You have two lives and take 25% more damage from poison and magic attacks.
- Burning Soul – You deal 20% more damage and take 10% more damage in Burning, Ghostflame, or Inferno stages.
- Demonic Presence – You stack up 5% damage every five turns alongside damage reduction and +1 health regeneration.
- Demonic Raze – Every five fights, you can revive yourself, after which 5% of your health depletes every turn.
- Base stats
- STR: 3
- ARC: 1
- END: 4
- SPD: 1
- LCK: 1
To use this race, you have to max out the Cult of Thanasius Covenant and beat Arkhaia. At the moment, this is one of the hardest races to obtain in the game, and you’ll hardly come across it. This explains why it’s an S-tier option, though.
How to reroll in Arcane Lineage

In Arcane Lineage, you can reroll for a new race by reaching lv. 20 and using the Lineage Shard. The Mysterious Merchant NPC spawns every few hours and sells this item for 3,600-4,400 Gold. You can also obtain it randomly as loot from boss fights.
This item wipes your character and grants you another random race. Do note that none of the S-tier races are available when you reroll. The only way to obtain them in the game is to complete the specific quests tied to them.
If you’re willing to spend Robux, there are two more ways to reroll in Arcane Lineage:
- When you die enough times, you’ll be sent to Purgatory. The Born Anew option lets you start a new character with a new race for 125 Robux.
- For 150 Robux, you can buy a brand new character slot which also gives you a random race but doesn’t wipe out your existing build.
That’s everything you need to know about picking races in Arcane Lineage. We hope this makes your journey more convenient and enjoyable.
