Monster Hunter Wilds offers players a chance to jump into the world of Monster Hunter on February 28, 2024. The game is currently available for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Monster Hunter Wilds lets players customize their Hunter before they embark on their journey, offering a fair deal of complexity in its customization options.
To this extent, many players have created an impressive number of user-generated characters that mimic popular real-life and fictional characters – the best of which will be listed below.
The best Monster Hunter Wilds Hunter character designs
1) Enrico Pucci
This particular character model shares a likeness to none other than Enrico Pucci, the main antagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. The title is also a tongue in cheek reference to his ultimate stand, Made in Heaven.
2) Kanye West
This character model takes a likeness to the rapper Kanye West, and is strikingly accurate. The comments also seem to be hilariously on topic as well.
3) Ciri
The adoptive daughter of Geralt of Rivia, Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon is depicted by this particular character model. Ciri’s likeness even extends to her clothing, which remains quite similar to that depicted within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
4) Marika look-alike
While the creator of this particular character model hasn’t specified a source for their creation, it does seem to bear an uncanny resemblance to Queen Marika the Eternal – of Elden Ring. The golden scar is a great addition as well.
5) Brigitta from Metaphor: ReFantazio
Brigitta from Atlus’s newest RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio joins the Monster Hunter Wilds beta in this custom character creation by Reddit user u/GrimWitcher.
These community-driven character works are amazing to witness, and should get more complex and creative over time as more players join in the beta, making themselves familiar to the character creator.
6) Naruto
Created by user u/Eggplant_Menace, this particular Monster Hunter Wilds custom character features none other than Naruto from the anime/manga series of the same name.
7) Harley Quinn
DC’s former villain and now complicated anti-hero Harley Quinn joins Monster Hunter Wilds in this fun creation by u/Suspicious-Sun-3041. The post also includes sliders for recreating the character yourself.
8) Lord Beerus (Palico)
While this particular creation is not Hunter specific, it does do a pretty close job at creating a likeness for Lord Beerus of the Dragonball Super anime/manga – albeit for the Palico only.
9) Frieza
This particular character resembles Frieza, one of the major antagonists from the DragonBall manga/anime series.
10) Kratos (God of War)
Another creation by user u/Wesker_42 replicates the look of old Kratos from the God of War series of video games.
11) John Wick
Created by user u/Infinite_Mix_932, this re-creation bears an uncanny resemblance to Keanu Reeves’ portrayal of John Wick.
12) Squidward
Spongebob Squarepants’ Squidward arrives to Monster Hunter Wilds, with his characteristic gloom.
13) Pokemon Hunters
This Hunter-Palico duo resembles a Pokemon trainer taking their Pikachu out for battle.
14) Rebecca (Cyberpunk Edgerunners)
Created by user u/harry_pottu, this character bears a strong resemblance to Rebecca from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.
15) Adepta Sororitas (Warhammer 40K)
This particular character resembles the Sisters of Battle from Warhammer 40K.
