With the right build setup, Perfumers can melt through the most challenging content in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. There are five Perfume Bottles that you can find, and it’s a new Weapon Category added with the DLC.

Perfume Bottles have very unique movesets and a couple of Ashes of War that are exclusive to them. While it can take you some time to get a Perfumer build going, once you have the components in place, they can do a massive amount of elemental damage while causing status effects.

Best Fire Sparks Perfumer build in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

This is a straight-up Puromancer build that makes the most of the firepower that the Fire Sparks Perfumer Bottle drops with. You can either choose to use it with Bloodhound’s Step to make it a mobile melee build or switch it out with Rolling Sparks to have a ranged option.

Rolling Sparks can do a ton of damage if you can properly aim it at the feet of the enemy. It also has a nice AoE radius which can help you clear out mobs.

To maximize the fire damage that the bottle can do, use Fire Scorpion Charm, Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear, and Oil-Soaked Tear. The Oil-Soaked Tear in particular is a new Crystal Tear that was added with Shadow of the Erdtree which will let you coat the enemy in oil, dealing significantly more fire damage to them.

There is a lot of playstyle versatility with this build, and you can look to put some points in Faith. This will let you increase fire damage while having access to more Incantations.

This Cold and Frenzyflame Perfumer build relies on proccing status effects like Frostbite and Madness. You power stance two bottles with the Frenzyflame one on your main hand and the Chilling Perfumer Bottle on your off-hand.

It’s a glass cannon build where you use the Howl of Shabriri to proc the first set of buffs and debuffs on yourself. Once you get inflicted with Madness, the buffs from the Black Dumpling and Aged One’s Exultation will then kick in.

You will be able to stack even more damage with Flame Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow. Once you are all buffed up, the damage values per Rolling Sparks will be off the charts, and you can melt through bosses.

However, do keep in mind that with the Howl of Shabriri active, you will take more damage as well. Hence this build can be a bit difficult to champion.

Poison is often considered to be the weakest status effect in Elden Ring. While it will constantly chip the enemy down, the rate at which it does it is pretty slow. So if you choose to go for a Poison Perfumer build, it will not just be because of the status effect but because of the base damage that it’s able to put out.

Out of all the Perfumer Bottles, the Poison bottle has one of the highest AR. It scales incredibly well with Dexterity and Arcane, and once you start dumping points into the two stats, the bottle starts doing some serious damage.

The playstyle that you need to champion for this build relies on charged heavy attacks (R2) and dashing heavy attacks. Talismans like the Axe Talisman and the Lacerating Crossed-Tree will help you maximize your damage.

You will be able to pile on more damage stats by using the Mushroom Crown and Kindred of Rot’s Exultation which activates once anyone in the vicinity is afflicted with poison.

The Lightning Perfumer is one of the most broken builds in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. It has the potential to one-shot almost everything in FromSoftware‘s expansion with just the press of a button. Charged attacks and the Ash of War Rolling Sparks will melt through most content in the game.

The build is also relatively easy to use, and you will be able to buff the damage that it does with the help of the Howl of Shabriri. The also scales with Dexterity and Faith so once you start dumping points into the two stats you will also be able to gain access to a variety of incantations. This will let you have a great balance between ranged and melee combat.

Bloodsucking Cracked Tear is another Wondrous Physick mix that you can look into to maximize your damage. However, while increasing your damage dealt, the Tear will tick down your HP bar, making it more of a glass cannon approach.
