Money in Metaphor ReFantazio is called Reeve and there are a few ways that you can go about farming it. This currency is required for almost everything in the game, however, its best use is in buying weapons, gear, and healing items or making necessary upgrades for your party.
As it’s a key part of progression and makes some of the hardest boss encounters easier, you will want to know about some of the best ways of getting more Reeve in the JRPG.

How to get more money (Reeve) fast in Metaphor ReFantazio
Here are some of the best ways of farming Reeve in Metaphor ReFantazio:
1) Equip the Merchant Archetype before farming mobs
You will be able to unlock the Merchant Archetype after completing “A Bullish Embargo Hunt” side quest. While the archetype uses money to deal damage, it will also help you acquire more Reeve in return.
The goal is to equip the Archetype on the protagonist as it will then give you access to the passive skill “Alchemy”. Once you have it, head to the Tradia Desert if you are in the early game and keep farming the mobs that spawn on repeat.
Just avoid the level 44 bird and you can spend a couple of hours just bullying the emeies there. You will be able to farm up a lot of Reeve like this.
If you are reaching the mid-game, then switch out Tradia Desert for Belaga Corridor or the Abandoned Tombs.
Fighting near Trans Crystals can also be beneficial. As long as you are not destroying them, the crystals will keep spawning enemies. It’s a great source of Reeve if you have the Merchant archetype equipped as well as Archetype EXP.
2) Sell enemy loot
If you need some quick cash to buy items before a boss encounter, you can always look to sell the enemy loot that you do not need. This will let you get your hands on some Reeve immediately in Metaphor ReFantazio.
To sell items you will need to interact with any trader in any one of the cities and sell off the enemy loot, consumables, or gear that you do not need. This method is useful only if you need to get your hands on a small amount of additional change.
3) Complete the various Bounties
Bounties are another great source of EXP and Reeve. As you progress through the narrative you will be able to unlock and complete new Bounties from Recruitment Centres. These are some of the harder encounters that you will come across as you make your way toward the end game.
So make sure you keep completing them by heading to the designated location and then turning them in at the Recruitment Centres. Long with Reeve and EXP, you will also get valuable items as drops from these bosses.
4) Sell MAG for money
MAG is a key resource that you will need to upgrade and unlock new Archetypes for your followers. So selling them for Reeve is not something that we will readily recommend. However, if you are short of a few change, then you can consider selling MAG instead of items.
However, try to go for the exchange after you have taken Brigitta’s Follower bond to rank 3 as it will then give you a boost to the exchange rate. Additionally, making the trade on bad weather days will also drastically improve the exchange rate.
So if you are looking to exchange MAG for Reeve, make sure to keep these two things in mind.
