How to unlock the Ancient Guanyin Temple in Black Myth: Wukong

To unlock the Ancient Guanyin Temple, you will have to find and ring three hidden bells in Chapter 1. Here’s where you can find them:

  • Forest of Wolves: Outside of Forest: When you climb up the hill and enter the abandoned clearing, you’ll come across a boss called Guangzhi. Defeat him and collect your first transformation spell. Then head to the back of this area to find the first bell.
  • Bamboo Grove: Snake Trail: Keep following the winding path till you reach a bamboo thicket with a lot of snakehead enemies. Defeat them and head to the hill where you’ll find Guangmou, an Elite enemy. Follow the steps behind him to ring the second bell.
  • Bamboo Grove: Marsh of White Mist: Head to the marsh and defeat the White-Clad Noble boss. Once you’ve defeated him, don’t head into the cave. Instead, look for a clearing and you’ll find the third bell there.

Once you’ve rung the third bell, you will be teleported to the Guanyin Temple which is stuck in the past. Here, you’ll have to defeat a boss to complete the area.

Then head up the stairs into the second area where you will encounter the Elder Jinchi secret boss. This monk has attack patterns that are similar to the Wandering Wight miniboss. However, once you’ve got him down to 50% health, he’ll raise zombies and absorb them.
