Destiny 2’s The Final Shape has officially gone live and fans are excited to know just how many campaign missions are available in the main narrative. The story which was ten years in the making has finally reached its end, with the Light and Darkness Saga finally reaching its conclusion.
Destiny 2 has been facing severe connectivity issues since the release of The Final Shape. However, the servers are now stable, and fans are being able to try out the new content in the climactic chapter.
Below is a list of all the main story campaign missions that you will be able to try once you start Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
How many campaign missions are there in Destiny 2: The Final Shape
Here are all the main campaign missions you will be able to play in Destiny 2: The Final Shape:
- Mission 1: Transmigration
- Mission 2: Temptation
- Mission 3: Exegesis
- Mission 4: Requiem
- Mission 5: Ascent
- Mission 6: Dissent
- Mission 7: Iconoclasm
- Mission 8 (Unlocked after the World First Raid completion)
However, do keep in mind that you will only be able to complete the first seven chapters of the campaign during the initial launch window. The final chapter, Mission 8, will only be unlocked after you have completed the World’s First completion of the Salvation’s Edge Raid.
What do you get for beating the campaign in Destiny 2: The Final Shape?
Once you are able to beat the campaign on Legendary, you will receive a 1960-level Blue Gear. This is to help you close the gap on the new soft cap with the Raid capping you to a Gear Score of 1965.
Along with the gear, you will also get a new Exotic which is specific to the class you completed the campaign with. This is in line with the rest of the campaigns that came before The Final Shape.
