Raids are one of the most difficult endgame activities that Destiny 2 has to offer. Unlike Dungeons, the activity is aimed at a group of six players, but a skilled group of three can also complete them.
Over the years, Destiny 2 has seen the arrival of several Raids, which mostly tie into the lore of the ongoing expansion.
That said, here are all the Raids that are a part of Destiny 2 along with their release dates.
All Destiny 2 Raids and their release date
All Raids in Destiny 2 feature multiple encounters, and most of these encounters have a boss that you need to defeat if you want to progress to the next one.
Some encounters, however, are very mechanic heavy, and require you to complete the mechanic properly before you can progress to the next encounter.
That said, here are all the Raids in the game so far:
Raid | DLC | Exotic |
---|---|---|
Leviathan* | Base Game | Legend of Acrius |
Eater of Worlds* | Base Game | – |
Spire of Stars* | Base Game | – |
Last Wish | Forsaken | One Thousand Voices |
Scourge of the Past* | Forsaken | Anarchy |
Crown of Sorrow* | Forsaken | Tarabbah |
Garden of Salvation | Shadowkeep | Divinity |
Deep Stone Crypt | Beyond Light | Eyes of Tomorrow |
Vault of Glass | Beyond Light | Vex Mythoclast |
Vow of the Disciple | Witch Queen | Collective Obligation |
King’s Fall | Witch Queen | Touch of Malice |
Root of Nightmares | Lightfall | Conditional Finality |
Crota’s End | Lightfall | Necrochasm |
TBA | The Final Shape | TBA |
It’s worth noting that Eater of Worlds and Spire of the Stars weren’t exactly Raids, but Raid Lairs. While as complex as any Raid in the game, these Lairs were much shorter in comparison.
With the arrival of The Final Shape expansion, it’s likely that Bungie will deviate from their usual pattern of releasing two Raids a year to just one.
This is because the new expansion will follow an episodic pattern with three episodes a year, rather than four seasons.
However, the developers have previously reprised Raids from Destiny 1, so there’s always a chance that they end up reprising some of the Raids that were vaulted prior to Beyond Light too.
