Solstice is one of the four major in-game events in Destiny 2, and is usually conducted during the summer months. During this event, Eva Levante returns with her bag full of special armor sets and weapons for everyone to collect.
Considering that we’ve finally defeated the Witness, this years’ Solstice hits differently. So, here’s everything you need to know about it.
Solstice 2024 start and end date
The Destiny 2 Solstice event started on August 6, 2024 and will continue until August 27, 2024. Over these few weeks you will be able to participate and get your hands on some powerful weapons and cool looking armor sets.
All Destiny 2 Solstice 2024 Weapons
This year’s Solstice features four weapons, out of which three are reissued weapons from the past, while one is brand new. These weapons are as follows:

- Crowning Duologue (Strand Rocket Launcher)

Compass Rose
- Weapon Type: Shotgun

Apart from this weapon, you’ll be able to collect some brand new Armor ornaments which looks a lot like the armor pieces that you see in Helldivers 2.
Destiny 2 Solstice 2024 rewards
Like every other event, this year’s Solstice features an event card as well, that’s filled with rewards that can help your in-game progressions. From Enhancement Cores to Enhancement Prisms, there’s a lot for you to acquire if even if you’re just progressing through the free reward track.
If, however, you choose to purchase the Premium Event Card, you’ll get the ‘King of the Sea’ Sparrow and ‘Worn-In Comfort’ shader. This premium upgrade is priced at 1,000 Silver, the equivalent of $9.99 or £8.49.
Finally, if you manage to complete all the triumphs that are associated with this event then you’ll get the Flamekeeper title that you can equip on all your characters.
