Bungie is known for adding secrets in the world of Destiny 2 for players to explore and reap the rewards. While most of these secrets come in the form of missions, the developers have done something different this time.
Without any prior intimation, the developers have added two new Stasis Fragments to the game, and you won’t really know about it unless you make it a point to visit every vendor in the game.
So, here’s how you can get the new Destiny 2 Stasis Fragments in The Final Shape.
Where to find the new Stasis Fragments in Destiny 2
You will find Elsie Bray, aka the Exo Stranger selling these two new Stasis Fragments on Europa in Destiny 2 The Final Shape. Just like the other Fragments that are available, you will be able to purchase them in exchange for Glimmer.
Both the Fragments will set you back 10000 Glimmer each. So, here are both the Fragments, including what they do:
Whisper of Chill – Stasis weapon kills have the chance to spawn a Stasis shard.
If you’re running a Stasis weapon with your build, but you’re having a hard time forming multiple Stasis shards, run this Fragment. It synergizes well with Stasis weapons, so whenever you bag a kill with these weapons, there’s a chance that you’ll automatically create a Stasis shard.
Whisper of Reversal – While you have Frost Armor, melee damage slows your target.
This Fragment makes use of the Frost Armor buff that was recently introduced in The Final Shape. When you have this buff, damaging an enemy with your melee attack will slow them down.
Of these two Fragments the Whisper of Reversal seems to be the best one because a lot of you will be running builds that incorporate Frost Armor because of the additional damage resist that it provides.
Furthermore, unlocking these Fragments on one character does not mean you’ll have it available on all characters. You’ll have to visit Elsie on all three characters to get your hands on these Stasis Fragments in Destiny 2.
