The Final Fantasy XIV servers will be taken down temporarily on July 30, 2024, for patch 7.05. It’s part of the MMO’s scheduled maintenance, which is introducing a slew of new updates to the RPG.
The servers will be down for around 4 hours, however, the maintenance period can extend beyond that. The developers will keep players updated if server downtime is longer than usual.
When will the Final Fantasy XIV servers go down on July 30 for all regions?
The FF XIV world servers for all regions will be going down at the following times:
- GMT – 6:00 July 30, 2024
- BST – 07:00 July 30, 2024
- AEST – 16:00 July 30, 2024
When are the Final Fantasy XIV servers coming back up?
As mentioned, the maintenance schedule for patch 7.05 will last for about 4 hours, and you can expect the servers to come back up at the following times:
- GMT – 10:00 July 30, 2024
- BST – 11:00 July 30, 2024
- AEST – 20:00 July 30, 2024
However, do keep in mind that the maintenance period can extend beyond the suggested time if the developers run into an issue during patching. So make sure to follow the official Twitter handle if the MMO remains unavailable for you.
All affected services during Final Fantasy XIV July 30 patch 7.05 server downtime
Apart from the game going offline for the scheduled maintenance, the following services will also be affected right before the servers go down:
- Dara Center Travel will be suspended 30 minutes before maintenance begins and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended.
- The following Mog Station services will be suspended 30 minutes before maintenance begins, and will be unavailable until maintenance has ended:
- Home World Transfer Service
- Character Renaming Service
- Item code/Gift code entry
- The FF XIV Companion app will also be unavailable during the maintenance period.
- Any duty recorder data recorded prior to this maintenance can no longer be replayed after this maintenance period.
