DO NOT level up your Fortnite Battle Pass right now if you meet this condition

The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass is a mix of original and crossover skins that can be obtained by completing quests. While Sub-Zero has traveled to the game’s multiverse from Mortal Kombat 3, Midas has been one of the most beloved characters among players since Chapter 2.

Now, if you’ve already reached lv. 170 in the Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass, we advise you to stop leveling it up further. You can either switch to some other game for some time or check out the wide range of unique game modes available in Fortnite Creative itself.

Although the progression format and reward system keep changing, the Battle Pass, at its core, spans across 100 levels, implying you get 100 unique items by leveling it up. These include outfits, backblings, loading screens, pickaxes, and more.

A casual player who plays Fortnite for around 10 hours a week can comfortably reach level 100 by the time the season ends. However, there are tons of more dedicated players as well who level up to 100 or more within a couple of days or weeks.

To reward such users, Fortnite also adds bonus rewards in the form of super styles that can be unlocked after lv. 100. These aren’t new outfits or items, but additional edit styles for the skins you’ve already claimed through the Battle Pass.

Every time you level up in Fortnite, you get a level-up redeem which acts like the Battle Stars from previous seasons, giving you the option to claim a reward manually from the Battle Pass.

As it turns out, until the March 11th update, you can only get level-up redeems until lv. 170 in the Fortnite Battle Pass. This is because the items that can be claimed after lv. 170 haven’t been revealed yet.

So, leveling up past lv. 170 in Fortnite at the moment won’t net you anything. Only when the cosmetics are eventually released on March 11, 2025, you’ll be able to get the level-up redeems for them.

Long story short, it is recommended to wait till the March 11 update for Fortnite if you’ve already reached lv. 170 in the Battle Pass. Following that, you can aim for the final 30 levels to claim the last set of bonus styles.
