How much are your Fortnite skins worth?

Fortnite, as a free-to-play Battle Royale, only expects players to spend money on the cosmetics they like. The premium Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, but you can buy it for free as well by grinding the unpaid version for some seasons.

Epic Games never really imposes micro-transactions on its players, but the quality and quantity of cosmetics in its Battle Royale title is incomparable to any other game in the world.

If you believe that your account is valuable, here’s a guide on how to check the cost of your locker and how much your Fortnite skins are worth.

How to calculate how much your Fortnite locker is worth

Fortnite.gg, a website dedicated to all things Fortnite, allows you to estimate the value of your account and cosmetics. You need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the website and sign in. Previously, the site asked you to log in with your Epic Games account, but now, you have to create a unique account for Fortnite.gg, so you can go with any of your e-mail IDs.
  2. Go to Cosmetics from the bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Here, you can search for all the cosmetics in the game. Search for the ones you own, and when you hover over the desired cosmetic, an option to add it to your locker will appear, too.
  4. Repeat the process until you’ve added every cosmetic from your Fortnite account to the Fortnite.gg locker.
  5. Now, select the My Locker option from the drop-down menu on the top-left corner of the screen. Double-check your cosmetics and their value in terms of V-Bucks, which will appear right below the yellow Reorder and Copy Link buttons.

Now, understand that 1000 V-Bucks in Fortnite cost you $8.99. Using this, you have to multiply the total value of your account in V-Bucks by $0.00899 to get its value in real money.

For players outside the USA, the trick is the same. Just learn about the cost of 1000 V-Bucks (the smallest V-Bucks bundle available in Fortnite) in your county’s currency. Divide the price by 1000 to get the value of a single V-Buck and then multiply that number by the total value of your account in V-Bucks.

Do note that the number you calculate through this method is likely to be inaccurate to a certain degree. This is because V-Bucks are collected in Fortnite in many ways, including the Battle Pass, gift cards, the shop bundles, and more.

On top of that, the price of a single V-Buck also varies based on the bundle you’ve purchased.

Having said that, this is a fairly complex and time-consuming way to calculate the worth of your Fortnite skins. There’s another way to go about this.

How to check your Fortnite locker’s value with Epic Games

Another way to check how much your Fortnite account is worth is to rely on the Epic Games store. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Epic Games store with the account that you use to play Fortnite.
  2. Open the Epic Games launcher.
  3. Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Select Account. You’ll be redirected to the Epic Games website with a rundown of your account.
  5. Select Transactions from the menu on the left.
  6. A list of all your transactions, including game purchases from the store as well as every purchase made in a game you’ve played through the Epic Games store, will appear.

The only downside is that all your transactions will appear here, and you’ll have to manually find every transaction made for V-Bucks in Fortnite. On the flip side, this will give you the exact worth of your locker and skins as opposed to the other method, which gives you a rough estimate.

Well, that’s everything to know about estimating the worth of your Fortnite skins and locker. If you’re having any trouble updating the game, make sure to also check out our guide on how to fix Fortnite Won’t Update errors on all platforms.
