Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is in full swing and one of the new mechanics you’ll notice instantly like Sprites is Oni Masks. Epic Games’ Battle Royale has had a fair share of unique weapons so far, and the latest Oni Masks are a sweet addition to the list.
While the Fire Oni Mask lets you shoot explosive projectiles toward opponents, the Void Oni Mask boosts mobility by letting you teleport quickly.
To outsmart your opponents and complete the relevant XP quests, here’s everything to know about getting the Fire and Void Oni Masks, including their Mythic variants, in Fortnite.

How to get Fire & Void Oni Masks in Fortnite
The Fire and Void Oni masks are available in Epic rarity as chest and floor loot in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. The map also has Elemental Chests now, and you will most likely find an Oni Mask in them.
Do note that Elemental Chests can also contain Boons that are powerful buffs related to mobility, reload time, sprint speed, and other things.

If you survive long enough in a game, one of your opponents could drop an Oni Mask after being eliminated. However, the Mythic variants of the Fire and Void Oni Masks are a lot rarer as only two of them spawn each game.
How to get Night Rose’s Mythic Void Oni Mask
Night Rose, a boss NPC that roams around Demon’s Dojo on the Fortnite map, drops the Mythic Void Oni Mask. Instead of the standard Void Oni mask that allows 15 uses with a 5-second cooldown after each use, the Mythic version offers 50 uses.
In the image below, you’ll find Night Rose’s exact location:

Demon Warriors protect Night Rose and when her Oni Mask takes over, you have to shoot the glowing red eyes to weaken the boss. Two such warriors, marked by Samurai icons, also spawn randomly on the map. Beat them and you might get an epic Void Oni Mask.
How to get Shogun X’s Mythic Fire Oni Mask
Shogun X doesn’t have a permanent spawn location in Fortnite, so finding him can be a bit tricky. Before jumping off the Battle Bus, you can open the map and look for a black and white Samurai icon.
A wiser approach, though, is to land somwhere safe and gather enough loot to face Shogun X. The boss’ location is constantly updated on the mini-map, and he can be very hard to beat alone.
The image below contains an example of how the boss appears on the mini-map and in the open world:

Things get even more interesting because you cannot kill Shogun X right away. Once his health reduces to 30%, Shogun X will disappear and return during the fourth storm circle on a floating island.
You can use Air Sprites to reach the floating islands and finally beat Shogun X to get the Mythic Fire Oni Mask alongside his Medallion and Typhoon Blade, two equally useful items.
The Mythic Fire Oni Mask has 16 charges while the epic variant offers just eight, so fighting the boss could be worthwhile.
