Fury Attacks in Throne and Liberty explained

The MMORPG Throne and Liberty has various systems attached to it that you should learn about, like Fury Attacks. In different moments, you’ll experience this attack from other enemies, and if you don’t know how to identify them, you’ll take damage.

So, if you plan to start playing the game on September 26, 2024, and want to save yourself better, here’s everything you should know about Fury Attack in-game. If anything, it will make your journey through the Autumn 2024 roadmap easier.

What is a Fury Attack in Throne and Liberty?

Fury Attacks are special attacks in Throne and Liberty that are more powerful than your standard attacks and cause much more damage when cast. Players hit with Fury Attacks can have various effects, including getting stunned or damaged over time.

When fighting PvE enemies, you will encounter a lot of fury attacks, and they’ll always have a purple circle appearing on top of them as an indicator in Throne and Liberty. When that occurs, you can best prepare and respond accordingly to the attack and save yourself.

Can you counter Fury Attacks?

The short answer is yes. Fury Attacks in Throne and Liberty can be countered precisely before the attack is executed. Whenever an enemy starts their fury attack, the purple circle doubles down as a visual indicator. This circle fills up, and only when it is filled up will the attack trigger.

Right before the attack is triggered, use your block to parry and deflect the attack, saving yourself from damage. This is considered a perfect block in-game, and it completely ignores any damage from the fury attack.

And yes, almost every weapon in-game has a defensive skill attached to it, and it should be assigned to your Q key on the keyboard. So, judiciously use it whenever possible, as successfully performing a perfect parry will allow you to perform a special attack.
