The Beater has one of the most fun roles in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions. Their sole objective is to ruin the opponent’s game plan and make it very difficult for them to score points.
They are equipped with a bat that they use to divert the trajectory of the Bludgers. Bludgers are hard ball-like things that keep ricocheting all over the arena. If a player is hit too many times by the Bludger in the RPG, then they will fall off their broom.
This is why Beaters usually target the enemy Seeker and the Keeper with the Bludger to make it difficult for them to catch the Snitch or protect the three rings.
Here is a guide on how you will be able to master the position of the Beater in Harry Potter Quidditch Champion.
How to play offense as a Beater in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions
Once your team is on the offensive you can make it very difficult for the enemy to defend against your Chasers. You will be able to summon the Bludger by pressing E on the keyboard or Y/Triangle on a controller.
Then lock onto the enemy and close your distance on them and then use the button prompt to launch the Bludger at them. Make sure you hit the enemy Chasers and the Keeper to create the best impact.

It will make it hard for them to defend when your team tries to throw the Quaffle through the rings.
Your team’s Bludger has a blue trail around it while the enemy’s will have a red one. This will make it significantly easier to spot yours.
Moreover, if your Bludger hits the enemy it will stun them for some time and chip down their HP a fair bit. If a player is hit by a Bludger two times in a row they will be knocked off their broom. Once that happens they will not be able to re-enter the field for around 15-20 seconds.
However, do keep in mind that players will be able to dodge the incoming Bludger (this goes for you too) if they press the Space bar at the right time when the button prompt comes out. So be strategic about when you are throwing it so that you will be able to catch the enemy off-guard.
How to play defense as a Beater in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions
You will need to switch tactics if the enemy is often getting possession of the Quaffle. If you are taking up a more defensive strategy you will need to focus on hitting the enemy Chasers and Beaters with the Bludger.
Aim for the Chaser who has the Quaffle to stun them giving your team some room to gain possession themselves. Additionally, the enemy Beaters are also likely to focus down your Chaser and Keeper.

Make sure you are being a nuisance for them as well so that they are not constantly spamming Bludgers at your team. Moreover, if you can time it correctly you will be able to hit an enemy’s Bludger back at them.
Use your boost and bat to position yourself and then press pressing E on the keyboard or Y/Triangle on a controller. This will let you counter the enemy Beater and hit them with their own Bludger.
Additional tips for mastering the Beater role
Apart from the usual offense and defense routine, you will also need to focus your attacks on the enemy Seeker. Once the Golden Snitch is out in the arena, you will get a prompt. Then when any one of the Seekers spots it, it will start the chase sequence.
Aim the Bludgers at the enemy Seeker’s path, (will need some practice to get your predictions right) to stun them giving your Seeker the edge. Bludgers play the key role of support in Quidditch and if you can master the position you will be able to help your team have a much easier time securing wins.
