Cursed Techniques are a core part of how powerful your character will get as you reach the endgame in Heian. There are currently 11 techniques that you will be able to get your hands on in the Roblox title, each offering something unique in terms of playstyle.

Unlike Clans, Cursed Techniques are a functional system in Heian. They have a huge impact on how well you can complete most of the content in the game, so it’s very important to pick the best among them or go for the one that fits your playstyle the best.

Heian Cursed Techniques tier list

The AS and A-tier Cursed Techniques provide some of the best abilities in Heian. They are the most balanced out of the lot and will fit almost every playstyle.

However, if you are looking for a particular sort of playstyle, then feel free to experiment with all of the techniques and then decide which suits you the best.

Best Cursed Techniques in Heian— Which one should you pick?

The Cursed Techniques listed below are the best in Heian, and we will go over why we decided to put them on the S and A tiers.

1) Shrine

Shrine is the perfect pick if you are looking for a more aggressive playstyle in Heian. It offers both close-range and long-range DPS potential, allowing you to be very versatile with your approach in any encounter.

Shrine also packs a lot of AoE abilities, which will let you one-shot mobs, making clearing PvE content very easy.

2) Sword Saint

The Sword Saint cursed technique has some of the fastest combos in Heian. It has a lot of gap-closing tools in its arsenal, allowing you to stay on top of your enemies while hacking them down.

Moreover, this technique is also one of the easiest to master on the list. So if you like taking enemies out with a flurry of attacks, then this is the best pick.

3) Mythical Beast Amber

Mythical Beast Amber has one of the highest burst potentials out of all the Cursed Techniques in Heian. However, it can be pretty tricky to master as most of its abilities are short-range.

The technique is best used in close-range combat. So if you like getting up close and personal with the enemy, then this is going to be the best pick for you.

4) Cursed Energy discharge

Cursed Energy Discharge comes packed with a lot of utility. CC is built into every part of its kit, and most of its attacks will either stun or knock enemies back. It has some of the best ranged attacks in Heian and is also pretty easy to play.

This Technique is the best option for a ranged playstyle. If you like taking enemies on from a distance and busting them down with powerful combos, then this is the one you should be gunning for.

5) Limitless

The Limitless Cursed Technique has some amazing combos that hit pretty hard if you land them correctly. However, this also makes it one of the harder techniques to master in Heian and is not something that we recommend for newer players.

Moreover, its abilities also have pretty long cooldowns, so you will need to be very careful with its combo rotations.

How to get every Cursed Technique in Heian

Fortunately, you do not roll for Cursed Techniques in Heian. You unlock them by going to a particular location and completing a quest. The difficulty of the quests will range from techniques to techniques, but at the end of the day, you are not having to rely on RnG to become more powerful:

Heian Cursed Technique	How to get
Shrine	To get the Shrine technique, you will need to keep following the main story till you encounter Fiend and Tengu. Once you beat them, they will drop the Cursed Embryo, which you can then take to Kenny in the Light Cave, which is near the Zenin Residence. Kenny will then transform the Cursed Embryo into a Cursed Finger. When you eat the Cursed Finger, the Shrine quest kicks off, and then completing it will unlock the Shrine Cursed Technique for you.
Cursed Energy Discharge	To get your hands on this Cursed Technique, you will need to be a minimum of a Grade 2 Sorcerer. You will then have this technique available once you gain 60 CO.
Sword Saint	To get the Sword Saint Cursed Technique, you will need to make your way to Nagano village. Once there, enter the Bar, and then interact with the Trainer. Pick the options that say “Tell me a Story”. You will then get a quest to retrieve four fragments of his blade. Here is where you will find them: • Fragment One: Head to Vashe Wilds and look for the cave beyond Kirisaki Village. • Fragment Two: Head to the Temple of the Forgotten Hero in Tundra and then head downstairs. • Fragment Three: Head to one of the buildings of the Zenin Residence in Overgrowth. • Fragment Four: Head to the pit near the Demon calamity in Oasis. Once you have all four fragments, round out the quest to unlock the technique.
Mythical Beast Amber	For the Mythical Beast Amber technique, you will need to make your way to the peak of Mount Fujin, which is near Nagano Village. Once you reach the highest peak, the goal is to get struck by lightning. Once you are hit by it, return to the trainer to obtain a quest that tasks you with defeating a Sorcerer that has the same power as you. When you round out the quest, you obtain the technique.
Limitless	To gain Limitless in Heian, the first step will be to unlock Maximum Techniques for your character. You will be able to do this by finding an injured sorcerer with arrows. This NPC can appear anywhere on the map, and if you are lucky, you will find him right away. Once you do find him, the goal is to beat him. Once you do, you will obtain a Boundless Scroll, which you can use at 80 CO or higher to access the techniques.
Projection Sorcery	To get this Cursed Technique, you will need to reach Grade 2 on your character and complete the Zenin Cart Event.
Blazing Courage	To obtain the Blazing Courage Cursed technique, you will need to make your way to the Vashe Desert. Here, look for a burnt village with an NPC inside it. Interact with him and complete his quest that requires you to defeat the following: • 5 Fujiwaras • 1 Vice Captain • 1 Captain
Blood Manipulation	To get Blood Manipulation, you will need to make your way to Whispering Valley and look for an NPC behind the waterfall. You will need to be at least Grade 2 to start her quest. Bring her the mushroom that she wants, and she will give you the quest to beat 3 players who are Grade 2 or higher. Once you complete it, you will get the Cursed Technique.
Ice Formation	To learn Ice Formation, you will need to first find the NPC in Vashe Tundra. From the entrance of the place, make your way straight and reach the very end of the area. From there, turn right and you will find the NPC nearby. Talk to him and you will receive two quests, the first will be to beat a Tengu, and the second will be to find a Blue Rose. The initial one is pretty straightforward; however, to find the rose, you will need to head to the highest peak of Mount Fujin. You will find the flower near the trainer who teaches the Mythical Beast Amber technique.
Auspicious Beasts	For the Auspicious Beasts Cursed technique, you will need to head to the Ethereal Bamboo Forest to find the NPC who teaches the technique. Now, to learn it, you will need to be at least Grade 2 and then meet his requirement, which can be either paying 20,000 Yon or paying 3,000 Yon and 10 Gold.
Ratio	The Ratio Cursed Technique is obtained by making your way to Kirisaki Village and then talking to the Grade 2 Sorcerer there. The NPC will then give you two quests, the first one is to exterminate five weak-cursed spirits and defeat the following: • Brute • Frozen Brute (Vashe Tundra) • Kuchisaki (Vashe Tundra)
