As you journey through Solisium in Throne and Liberty you will get a variety of options to change your appearance including hiding your helmet as well as transmoging your gear. At the start of your journey in the MMO, you will be allowed to customize your character in whichever way you want.
You will also get the option to create alternate characters that you will be able to switch between. So if appearance is important to you, you are likely going to be spending hours tinkering with how your characters look in the RPG.
However, you might want to eventually change your character’s appearance a bit later on to give them a fresh look. The guide below goes over how you will be able to do that.
How to change your character’s appearance in Throne and Liberty
If you are looking to change your appearance while in human form, you will need to get your hands on an Appearance Change Ticket. You will be able to purchase this item from the shop which is located at the top right of the main menu.
Each ticket will cost 500 Lucent which is a premium currency in Throne and Liberty. So once you have it you will need to:
- Open the menu and then head over to the far left of the character section where you will find the Mirror Boutique option.
- Here you will need to select the Change Appearance button located at the top left of your character. This will open up the complete character customization screen.
- You will now be able to change the appearance of your character in whichever way you want. Once you are satisfied, hit save and you will consume an Appearance Change Ticket to finalize your edits.
You can head into the Mirror Boutique option to customize your character even if you don’t have a ticket it. This is because the resource is consumed once you finalize and save your edit.
How to hide your helmet in Throne and Liberty
You will be able to hide your armor’s helmet as well in Throne and Liberty. To be able to do it you will need to head over to the Character info menu which is on the top left of the main menu.
Once there, you will find the option to “Show Head Armor” on the bottom left of the screen. You can toggle this on or off at any time to hide your headgear.
How to Transmog your gear in Throne and Liberty
To transmog your gear and change their appearance in Throne and Liberty you will need to head to the Weapon Appearance menu in Mirror Boutique. On the right side of the screen, you will notice a list of items you have, along with a box that will show the weapons skins that you currently have equipped.
For armor skins, you will need to head to the Outfit option in the Mirror Boutique. Through the same process, you will be able to change the appearance of your armor.
However, do keep in mind that the transmog system is purely cosmetic in nature. Changing the appearance of your gear will not replace the stats of your equipped armor set and weapons.
