The Sacred Hunt is the class quest for the Spiritborn class in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred. You will be able to access this quest once you’ve hit level 15, just like the other classes.
Unlike the others, this class quest is elaborate, and features a boss fight at the end, which can be confusing and difficult.
So, here’s how you can unlock the Spirit Hall in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred.
How to unlock the Spirit Hall in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred
To unlock the Spirit Hall, you’ll have to complete the Sacred Hunt class quest. To start this quest, you’ll have to talk to Tarka, the Emissary.
You’ll find this NPC at the Gea Kul waypoint, and after you’ve interacted with him, you’ll be sent on the trail of a beast who’s terrorising the Sanctuary.
Before you eventually get to the mini dungeon associated with the Sacred Hunt quest, you’ll have to find and interact with Tarka at different areas that are highlighted in purple on the map.
Finally, you’ll reach the dungeon that you need to complete. While you’re on your way, you will see several glowing tracks, so be sure to interact with them whenever you spot them.

When you first step inside the dungeon, you’ll have to beat multiple enemies right at the entrance before you get to interact with Tarka again.
He’ll point you towards a brazier, which he’ll eventually go and light up. When he does this, bring up your emote wheel and select the “Help” emote.
You’ll then be taken into a room, where you will have to survive the onslaught of multiple enemies. Once you’ve cleared this room, Tarka’s astral form will appear and will ask you to interact with another brazier.
This time however, you’ll have to bring up the emote wheel and select the “Thanks” emote instead. The path will open up once again, allowing you to progress further into the dungeon.
Keep exploring the area till you finally get to the boss room.
How to beat The Beast, Nature’s Wrath in Diablo 4
This is one of the trickier boss fights in Diablo 4, because it has an additional mechanic that you’ll need to deal with.
All you need to do is head into the room and the boss fight will start. After you’ve depleted around 25% of his health, the boss will form an immunity barrier.
At this time, you’ll have to interact with one of the four pillars in the room. When you do this, The Beast, Nature’s Wrath will do an AoE attack depending upon what pillar you choose.
- Guardian of the Sky – Rotating air columns
- Guardian of the Forest – Rotating ground spikes
- Guardian of the Plains – Fire attacks
- Guardian of the Swamp – Exploding poison bubbles
You can interact with the aforementioned pillars in any order. When you do so, the AoE attacks will begin, and you will have to avoid them and kill the few enemies that spawn and collect the spirit orbs they drop.

After you’ve collected some of these orbs, you’ll see your ability bar change. Now, head into the boss’ shield and trigger the attack. This will disrupt the shield and make the boss damageable again.
Repeat this process till you have the boss down to 10% health. This is when spirits will come and finish the boss for you.
After a brief cutscene, you’ll be able to head back to Gea Kul again with your newfound Spirit powers. You will be able to change these powers whenever you want to, and at level 30, you’ll be able to select a secondary power too.
