Memory Shards are a key resource that is used to increase the star level of your Legendary characters in Sword of Convallaria. Unlike some of the most popular gacha titles like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves, you do not need duplicates of Legendary Characters to level them up.

How to farm Memory Shards in Sword of Convallaria

Improving the Star Level of your character helps make their unique Traits even more powerful in Sword of Convallaria. Hence, Memory Shards are a key part of the late-game grind and you will need to come up with effective ways of farming them. 

The best way to get memory Shards will be to clear the Memory Retrieval stages in the Crossing Worlds. The amount of Memory Shards that you get there will increase as you keep completing the stages and the encounters start getting harder.

However, do keep in mind that the Memory Shards that you get for each level will be spread out across each of your party members. If you are looking to target farm shards for a particular character you will need to solo the stages with the character. 

Moreover, as you can only complete the Memory Retrieval stages once per day, it’s important to plan ahead.

Another way of obtaining Memory Shards in Sword of Convallaria will be to get Duplicates of the Legendary Characters. Every dupe you pull will reward you with 50 Memory Shards. This will help you star up your characters even faster.

How to use Memory Shards in Sword of Convallaria

You use Memory Shards to increase the Star Level of your characters in Sword of Convallaria. A total of 300 Memory Shards will be required to max out a character in the game, hence, there is a fair amount of grind required to start minmaxing your party.
