Secateurs is the first foraging equipment that you will be able to get your hands on in Brighter Shores. The gear is tied to the Forager profession in the MMO and is not something that you will be able to immediately get your hands on.
The Forager is one of the best professions in the RPG as it will let you gather resources that are then used as crafting materials by other professions. Secateurs is one of the many pieces of equipment that will help you farm the resources, but you will need a minimum Forager level of 2 to get it.

Obtaining Secateurs in Brighter Shores
The best way of obtaining Secateurs is to purchase with money in Brighter Shores. You will need to locate Ella who is in the Forager’s Warehouse on Old Street. Head east from Town Square and you will eventually come across it.
You will need to pay 13 silver and 200 copper to purchase it, making it one of the more expensive items to get in the early game. So make sure you are looking for ways to make more money fast before going to buy the item.
Some of the best ways to make Silver will be to go for the Fisherman profession, level it, and then sell your catch to the Fishmonger.
Another great method will be to make and sell Bacon Sandwiches to the Head Chief. You can buy the resources from Kevin’s Ingredients on Stone Street and then cook it at The Delectable Dab.
Selling a cooked Bacon Sandwich will fetch you 560 copper from the Head Chef. This method is also a great way of leveling your Chef Profession in Brighter Shores.
How to use Secateurs in Brighter Shores
Secateurs will come in handy once you reach Forager level 2. One of the early game resources that you will be able to farm with it, is the Creamy Wallplant. This is one of the key resources that will help you craft 20% Healing Potions after combining it with Brown Kelp. However, you will need level 2 Alchemist for it.
Another great use of the Secateurs in Brighter Shores is to obtain White Periwinkles with it. You will get this resource when you reach Forager Level 4. As long as your Alchemist level is at 4, you will be able to use the Priwinkles to make 5% Hopeport Experience potions.
The potion will increase the XP gain for each of your professions by 5% for the next 2 minutes. Making it a great early-game item to help you level up fast.
