Dragon Age is just one of the franchises developer Bioware is renowned for, with the Mass Effect series coming to a close second. In order to commemorate N7 day, the developers have released a set of Mass Effect themed armor for players to grab in the RPG.
These cosmetics are entirely free to grab for all players, regardless of the edition they own.

How to unlock the Mass Effect armor in Dragon Age The Veilguard
You will have to complete ‘The Singing Blade’ main story quest as a prerequisite before attempting to grab the armor. Once you complete the quest, refer to the series of steps below for a walkthrough on obtaining the armors:
- Unlock your access to the Caretaker’s Workshop and Lighthouse before proceeding further.
- Head into the Lighthouse.
- Head further into the yard and to the Caretaker’s Workshop to spot a chest nearby.
- Interact with the chest to open it and claim the Mass Effect themed cosmetics.
To change your appearance and equip the items, simply make your way to your Rook’s room within the Lighthouse. Access the Wardrobe and swap your uniforms.
What is included in the Mass Effect armor set for Dragon Age The Veilguard?
The cosmetics include the following three items:
- Command Helmet
- Specter of Battles Past
- Paragon of Leadership
The designs blend together the color elements of Mass Effect with the medieval styled fantasy armor of the Dragon Age series, making for a very unique look.
Given that the armor set is entirely free and requires very minimal grinding to unlock, players should grab them at their earliest convenience. The set is entirely cosmetic in nature though, and does not offer any stat bonuses of the sort.
The armor does not seem to be time-limited in any way either.
