How to report players in The First Descendant

Since it’s a live-service game, you’re more than likely to find a lot of hackers in The First Descendant. In fact, even though the game has just gone live, there are players who are already advertising hack sales in the game chat.

To counter this, the developers have introduced a way for you to report these players should you encounter them while exploring Ingris. So, here’s how you can report them.

How to report someone in The First Descendant

To report a player, you need to:

  1. Press the player interaction button (T on Keyboard, R3 on Controller)
  2. In the menu that opens up, you’ll see a small icon in the bottom right corner.
  3. Click on that menu to bring up the “Report player” window.

Alternatively, you can also select the player you want to report from the Social tab which you can access from the Map window in The First Descendant.

For the most part, these hacks are nothing but scams and will cause you to lose your personal data and in certain cases, might cause you to lose money from your bank accounts too.

That said, it’s also worth understanding that these items hacks can tamper with your systems and cause damage to your equipment as well. Since it’s a PvE game, there’s no additional advantage that these hacks can provide you with.

So it’s best to steer clear of these messages whenever you spot them. And In case you find players continuously spamming the chat while advertising hacks, it’s best that you report them and wait for the developers to take further action.

That’s all you need to know about how to report players in The First Descendant. If you’re yet to unlock new Descendants, here’s how you can unlock them all, and here’s how you can get Ultimate Bunny too.
