The Occult Crescent is the latest Field Operation in Final Fantasy XIV, which also features a variety of Phantom Jobs that you will be able to get your hands on. The new set of content is found in the Shades’ Triangle, and some of your initial objectives here will be to unlock your first Phantom Job outside the default Freelancer, search for new knowledge, and treasure.
Phantom Jobs will unlock a variety of abilities for you, which will make it considerably easier to survive in the Occult Crescent. So if you are looking to make the most of the system in Final Fantasy XIV, then the guide below will help you out.
All Phantom Jobs and how to get them in Final Fantasy XIV Occult Crescent
Once you make your way to Occult Crescent and start unlocking more of the region, you will eventually get the option to unlock Phantom Jobs by talking to Ketenramm and then starting the “New Job, Old Tricks” questline.
However, while some jobs will be available through this mission, there are others that you will need to pay for. Some jobs are also locked behind Critical Events, which sees 72 players participating in a massive mission.
Below is a list of all the Phantom Jobs, segregated into categories, and how you will be able to unlock them:
1) Initial Phantom Jobs
These are the default jobs and the ones you get to unlock through the “New Job, Old Tricks” questline:

2) Purchaseable Phantom Jobs
These jobs are purchased with Enlightenment Pieces, which are a currency that is found in the Occult Crescent area. The currency is obtained by beating enemies in the region, completing Critical Events, as well as FATEs.
Once you have the currency, you will then be able to use a Soul Shard to gain access to the Phantom Job:

3) Phantom Jobs from Critical Events
Some Phantom Jobs are obtained as a drop from completing the various Critical Events that you will find in the Occult Crescent. These missions pop up every now and then, and you will need to head to where they’re taking place and join the fight.
If you are lucky, you will be able to have one of the following Phantom Classes drop for you:
